  • A Snow White Lie or Prelude To A Snow White Life
    by Tom Sieger

Though frightened, she was really quite certain that all this had happened many times before and would, of course, again.

The tale of Snow White more than any other fascinates me. I wondered what would happen if I got to know her more intimately, from the inside out. What I found was hope overcoming fear, grace overcoming awkwardness, service increasing beauty and love conquering evil. Finally, in her I glimpsed the very nature of so many of the women I love, my wife, my sisters, my mother, my wife’s departed grandmother. The sheer ability of beauty and grace of the feminine to not only overcome but to lift untold generations.

  • A Colourful Life.
    by Rudywalsh

White is for pure a virgin in wait / or a snowman’s coat all covered in flakes.

Something I wrote whilst living in Sweden 12 years ago in 1997. / I worked out many years before that if you write something for the public or Society in general then you should write so that ‘’everybody understands’’ / When only the educated or literally minded people understand what you have written then how is that a good thing unless you are prejudice against certain members of society it doesn’t make sense. / If you were giving a speech to an audience of 10.000 people why would you speak and only use words that only half your audience understands, that would be a waste of breathe and space, / but if you were to talk and use words that were understood by all 10.000 people in your audience then surely you have done a better job in capturing those you are trying to get your message across to. Rudyard Kipling’s ‘’If’’ is a fine example of great literature and poetry it has been voted the greatest poem of all time, everyone understands the wording of ’’If’’ / What makes a great poem is something that people can relate to and understand something that touches you something you won’t forget / great poems you remember because you understand the words and meaning, poetry doesn’t mean anything if the people reading it don’t understand what you have written.

  • A Crazy Tea Party
    by princessleah

Twiddle Dee and Twiddle Dumb / Came to their aid / They brought along the Mad Hatter / He expected to get laid

This is a continuation or a a response to my friend Iris hilarious piece Princessleah’s and Iris’s Brownies which came about after she read and made a comment on my piece Cryptic Gremlins . She made a comment that she did not like brownies and I explained to her these were special brownies a friend told me about, laced or cooked with Marijiuna. For the record, I have never had them and never tried them but I wrote Cryptic Gremlins thinking this is how I would react, if I were high. A crazy Alice in Wonderland world. Anyway, Iris made a joke saying wouldn’t it be funny if we had a Tea party with these brownies and I said that WOULD be funny. She wrote “Princessleah’s and Irir’s Brownies”. This is my response to her wonderful piece…..Let the madness continue!!! This is dedicated to you, Iris….my RB sista!!!
