This was the best day of our Artic trip, we were so lucky to spend hours with this polar bear mum and cubs (there were actually two cubs but the other is out of shot). This cub was around seven months old and full of joy! / I really like the tender love the cub shows for its mum. / / (Spitzbergen – Scandinavian Arctic) / / / / / / / / / / / / / / / / / / / / /

One must suffer for your art correct? Well this might fit, I headed out this cold December dawn a year ago with temps at -5 and windchill at -30. A bit chilly and I learned that if you take a glove and grab a metal tripod leg your hand will stick at least for a few moments. I hope the image was worth it! The frozen surface of Mud Lake just after dawn one cold winter morning. The long shadows of the tree stumps making eerie lines across the ice and skiff of snow on top.

Al Neaimi: It took me somtimes to think of a person i would pass this honor to , there are so many talanted people and alot of amazing art on here which makes it hard ,I would really like to nominate The endless walk by Geir Floede / Geir’s work is very creative all his work is extraordinary , my fav is THE ENDLESS WALK , this image to me is one of the best I have ever seen simple yet powerful as many can relate and connect to it —-—-—-—-—-—-—-— This photo was selected as digital winner in redbubbles book in the moment />Beautiful imagery of a person in the wilderness wearing a track in deep into the snow. She has come from offstage but looks set to walk endlessly in a circle til she breaks free . . . or someone breaks into her world. She is definitely “in the moment”. Very understated, exceptionally powerful. By RedBubble / —-—-—-—-—-—-—-— By Skyfox. An interwiew with Judi Taylor Show & tell us about five works on redbubble that have moved or inspired you I could have told you about five times ten but finally chose these five. The endless walk by Geir Floede – This is a profound statement of someone walking in circles. It represents how one can get stuck by repeating the same mistakes over and over again thereby remaining where they, not able to move forward. —-—-—-—-—-—-—-——- / Read what the redbbubble member Mishael Sardar have bee inspirating to write around “The Endless walk An endless patience / she was walking down a cold grey skies / annoy excessively / agony / misery / cold look / worn heart / cold hand / tired feet / frozen thought / broken dreams / fear / tears / a cold rain pours / Soaking her to the bone / she lost her shelter / Panic seized her deeply / Fear clutched at her heart / she was walking lonely the flowers of the memories still clutched in her hand / she can’t escape from memories / couldn’t to escape from the burning memories / to be tormented with violent pain / to torment one with questions / stir up / She pondered over his words / the words he has never spoken / he came and said,’’ I’m going away from your life’‘ / ’’I’ll no more in your life’‘ / ’’don’t leave me ’’ / ’’why you going far?’‘ / ’’why you doing this to me ?’‘ / ’’you have had many questions and I’m in rush’’ / he grabbed her in his arms and kiss away her tears / ’’why?’’, she whispered / ’’cause all we need is love and love is waiting for me’‘ / “Don’t do it’‘ he said “Goodbye and God bless you” / she slipped her hand into him / he walked away And he left her / to live with frozen life / she knew that love has slipped away / she stood there with empty hands / empty heart / empty soul / but so many questions on her mind / why? / how? / how could he? / why did he? / she is pondering over the same old questions / a question that is difficult to understand / and that has a surprising answer / that she asks / he was talking in riddles / she couldn’t get him say what his mean / life became riddle / have loads of twists and turns / she knew, the fire of remoteness that always burn she couldn’t solve the riddle of the love / she couldn’t solve the riddle of the life her manner was cold and distant / she was staring at sky with cold eyes / she was thinking / so many questions making her insane / the life was less of an ordeal than she’d expected / life became the line that forms the edge of a circle / She is walking the round in a circle / moving in circles of sadness / circle of the loneliness / circle of the remoteness / revolving around the circle of the life / she has the cliff path / she is walking on the edge of the cliff / the journey seems endless / she is walking lonely / an endless walk!!!! Canon 350 D 17-40 mm lens. Winter landscape with sunset in fog.
Loch of the Lowes lies in the beautiful scottish borders between Moffat and Selkirk. It flows into nearby St Mary’s loch (with its thriving sailing club) past old Tibbieshiels inn, hostelry and overnight stop for walkers on the southern upland way crossing Scotland. Overlooking the north end of the loch is a monument to James Hogg – the Scottish Poet known as the Ettrick Shepherd, friend and contemporary of Sir Walter Scott. Taken 4/3/08 (untouched) with a pocket fuji finepix A500 (There is a 2nd loch of the lowes further north in Perthshire, complete with osprey viewing centre – but you can see the wonderful fish eagle hunting here too if you are lucky!) My first ever feature on the home page ages on 23rd April 2008 and what a party that was…LOL See also : ‘i am a rock’ and ‘LoL’ loch of the lowes

I was having fun experimenting one night on our street as I loved how the lights reflected off the snow on our street, these log homes with big windows really allowed this scene to come out. Tried and tried over and over to give it that festive feeling around X-mas, anyhow, here`s the result. / Canon XT, sigma 17-35mm 2.8 over 15 sec

This guy lay napping during quite a heavy snowfall. An amazing experience shooting these guys while the snow came pelting down. More to come…
The first snow of the season, going outside with my camera i was fascinated from this young woman who was walking alone in this solitary country road.My attention was captured by her little red umbrella as if she wanted put a little bit of color to the melancholic atmosphere of that grey day.
