As promised – the new illustration on t-shirt. Works nicely don’t you think? Wear it with pride and spread the word of environmental awareness – or just pretend you are a bad-ass with a penchant for skulls…

In the movie GET SHORTY someone tells John Travolta that the reason LA has beautiful sunsets is the smog. He forgot to mention are wild fires. LA is definitely colorful.
I took this photo on a cruise about a month ago. The weather was quite poor up until that point, so i got my camera out and took some shots as we left the harbour. I find the lighting in this to be rather interesting. Updated image: Cropped off most of the bottom of the original and made it more panoramic, as suggested by Paul- thanks!

This isn’t so much cool, atmospheric fog as it is extremely dense air pollution in the Chinese capital of Beijing. Just think : athletes will be running for 42km in the marathon through air of this quality if they don’t do something (like forbid anyone from driving a car or lighting a fire or burning coal for a couple of weeks during the Games)

OK , so its not really London smog – just a heavy fog one morning in Feb of this year. / Tower Bridge on the Thames , London , UK.
A classic London fog envelopes the London Eye. In another time Sherlock Holmes might have come striding out of the fog!

When the smog-filled sky remains cloaked in red forever… well, the word forever will probably have lost its meaning by then. The end will grow near. After seeing Red City , my husband stated that this is exactly the kind of series that he would like to see hanging in our living room. Graphic, a little surreal and red! So this one was made with exactly the right colours in mind for our decor. Same photoshop process with several adjustment layers, including invert. Featured in Inverted World on August 17, 2009 The colour of this photo can be changed upon request to match your decor. Please send me a bubblemail to discuss the possibility

Santiago, capital city of Chile. This is the view from the top of the look out at St Lucia Park. The building that leads the climb to the top is seen in World Forgotten. There is nothing like being in a city and being able to see snow capped mountain tops in the near distance. (45 bus ride takes you to the Andes Mountains). As incredible a place as Santiago is, the city has unfortunately been built in a valley, which has trapped the smog and pollution over the years. The view of the Andes, as seen here, is slowly being obliterated by the smokey sky. After speaking with a few locals, they are predicting only 10 – 20 years until the view is faded away to smog totally. It will be a sad day indeed, when the Andes can’t be seen at such a short distance.
