  • thank you to the lovely person who bought this as a mounted print /

  • I popped into a natural health store in Napa, California and happened to have my camera handy. I stumbled on this wide array of incense sticks and chose to shoot them for a texture and color play. I kind of liked the way it came out…a bit compartmentalized—but still rather cool to see it this way, yes?

  • I’m not 100% sure what’s going on in this picture, but I have no doubt that spending his day in the house of a creepy old man wasn’t exactly the way this kid hoped things would turn out. There’s a story here, I’m just not exactly sure what it is.

  • A white rose .A rose is always appropriated to give as a card. /

  • This is a really quick charcoal sketch I did a few years ago that I pulled out while digging through some old work. Maybe it’s not the single greatest thing I’ve ever done, but I do think that the concept is interesting. Maybe? Maybe not? I dunno. Some of the sloppiness can be forgiven though, since this was really more of a sketch than anything. No? Maybe? Please? Leave me alone…I’m tired.

  • Sniffer won the “Funniest Dog Challenge” in the Funny Kritters Group!!! November 2008 Cute schnoz, eh? Lady Lily taking a sniff through our fence. This is the Lady Lily, we adopted her after she and her sister were found abandoned, a couple of innocent little puppies just left in a box on some vacant property. Luckily, someone found them, took them to the pound, and we then found her on Petfinder. We fell in love with her instantly, just from a picture. We drove quite a ways and once we arrived and met her for the first time, they very first thing she did, after wagging her tail and smiling that is, was bring us a big huge maple leaf. That was it, we brought her home. She is super smart, loving, and cuddly, all 70+ pounds of her! Update on Lily… we have always wondered what breed/s of dog she is. Not that it really matters, we were just curious. Well, after having her for a year now and seeing her full grown, we figured our best bet was German Shepherd & Collie. With more research however, we have discovered she is actually a “Malinois” Belgian Sheepdog… looks like a purebred but we don’t care if she has mutt dog in there somewhere… she is BEAUTIFUL !!! I always have fun guessing a rescued mutts breed make-up :)
