  • Imagine the sunrises, sunsets, storms, and sunny days this water tower has seen in all its years. This day was not a particuarly memorable day in its history, but it will be remembered it as it appeared through the lens of an antique camera and now captured forever in this digital medium. The Clack produces only 8 negatives on a roll of 120 film. This forces the photographer to slow down and carefully compose each shot. This slowing down of time is exactly what is being portrayed in this photograph. The colors and clouds bleed into the background, highlighting how little has changed in this scene over time. Created using a 1950’s AGFA Clack camera with 4 year expired Fuji Velvia RVP120 (ISO 50) slide film cross processed with C-41. No digital manipulation necessary! • Orange Daze
    by Juilee Pryor

    US$4.99–US$114.00

Next upload from the Strange Daze series I’m working on at the moment. Back in the olden days if you wanted to get some interesting textures on to a model…. there was no photoshop about then infact it wasn’t even a twinkle in it’s inventors eye…so what you had to do was line up a lovely model and project interesting images over him or her…. like in these strange daze images I’m uploading. The images from this series turned up amongst some of my late fathers photographic archive which I’ve been endeavouring to sort out and digitize. I don’t know who the model is or why or when they were taken but the make up and hair on the model just shreaks ‘eighties’ to me…. so some love from way back when…. with thanks to my very very clever Dad…. enjoy / . /

  • angel daze
    by Juilee Pryor

    US$4.99–US$114.00

there is just something so appealing about angels no matter where they turn up…. this is another of my series of slide projection photographs by my late father. They were most likely taken some time in the eighties and have never seen the light of day since. Lucky lucky me to find them hey and give them a little bit of an airing…. and this particular one is one of my favorites … well I have a couple of favs but this one really works for me…. the model and the image have really fused…. / . /

  • Guardians
    by Ronald Jore

    US$5.65–US$129.20

Statues guarding the entrance to the Abu Simbel temple in Upper Egypt. This temple was carved out of a huge rock, and the whole thing was cut into pieces and moved up the mountain when the Nasser dam was built, in order to save it from being flooded by Lake Nasser. The shot was taken close to winter solstice, at which the sunlight shines right through from the entrance (left of the image) into the inner sanctum. Obviously I was not alone there, so I tried to reduce the distraction of people walking around by taking a long exposure, and like the fact that a hint of people walking around can still be made out in front of those stone guardians who have been standing there for millenia – perhaps this is how they are seeing us anyway. / Scan from colour slide.
