Shot this on daylight slide film to get the green sterile look of the dryers. These type of places are such good locations for quirky photoshoots.
I took this picture a couple of years ago at the beach of Marina di Grosseto, Tuscany, Italy. / This is a fine example I think of how a fisheye lens can completely change the feeling of an ordinary scene. The subject is simply some surf on the seashore, captured from a distance of not more than a foot. / The original picture is a Fuji Velvia 50 Iso medium format slide. Hope you enjoy it, thanks for dropping by. Paolo

Model – Tash Williams Shot on location in Adelaide in 2006 using Polaroid Viva Colour and a Colorpack 80 camera. Was a test shot and a bit of a fluke but it has since become one of my most popular pieces. Go figure. Copyright 2008 Harmony Nicholas

Fall Creek Gorge Nature Preserve near Attica, Indiana The water flowed through this small section and turned the corner at the end to come back into the creek. It reminded me of a slide at a water park…. Canon EOS 350D Featured in: / Rocks & Bones / All Water In Motion / All About Water / All That Is Nature

Imagine the sunrises, sunsets, storms, and sunny days this water tower has seen in all its years. This day was not a particuarly memorable day in its history, but it will be remembered it as it appeared through the lens of an antique camera and now captured forever in this digital medium. The Clack produces only 8 negatives on a roll of 120 film. This forces the photographer to slow down and carefully compose each shot. This slowing down of time is exactly what is being portrayed in this photograph. The colors and clouds bleed into the background, highlighting how little has changed in this scene over time. Created using a 1950’s AGFA Clack camera with 4 year expired Fuji Velvia RVP120 (ISO 50) slide film cross processed with C-41. No digital manipulation necessary! there is just something so appealing about angels no matter where they turn up…. this is another of my series of slide projection photographs by my late father. They were most likely taken some time in the eighties and have never seen the light of day since. Lucky lucky me to find them hey and give them a little bit of an airing…. and this particular one is one of my favorites … well I have a couple of favs but this one really works for me…. the model and the image have really fused…. / . /
David Bowie ….eat your heart out….. another portrait shot from the series of slide projection photographs taken by my late father. This so reminds me of the sort of make up David Bowie used to wear back in the days…... / . /
