My kitty, Aurora after a “whirlwind” play session of about 10 minutes NONSTOP….completely exhusted laying on the hallway floor! This was such a CUTE picture…I just had to grab my camera, and hope she didn’t move when she saw me! Aurora is a rescued kitty. Frankie, a Ragdoll, has made himself at home as you can see. This shot was taken just before he took a nap on Tuesday afternoon January 6th 2009. In two weeks he has grown quite a bit and is a handful. Leaping, jumping, chasing anything, when he is not sleeping, eating or pooping. He is cuddled up on my husband’s T-shirt, draped over my husband’s office chair in the home office, while I am sitting at my computer. All the light on his head and fur is from the window just behind him. Frankie was rescued from the streets on Tuesday December 23/08 by my son Kevin. Baby sloth- Punta Uva, Costa Rica. The baby had fallen out of the tree and the gardeners found him. They were pushing him around in a wheelbarrow to keep him safe from a large boa constrictor that was roaming the premises. I’m not sure how, but the baby was eventually reunited with his mom… We saw them in a tree together a few days later. When you have a roll of thick masking tape and a face, you can’t help but pretend to be an emote…. right :-) enjoy x Also because i’ve recently joined the “budget photographers” group I feel that it is important to say how you don’t have to be minted to express yourself. I edit everything with Gimp which is free software, I use free lighting (high 5 to the sun anyone) and I used in this case a window ledge, jewellery box and a book as a tripod.
