My kitty, Aurora after a “whirlwind” play session of about 10 minutes NONSTOP….completely exhusted laying on the hallway floor! This was such a CUTE picture…I just had to grab my camera, and hope she didn’t move when she saw me! Aurora is a rescued kitty. I created this bat when I was working on a Halloween illustration. I like it and I wanna share with you on RB.

Of the two albino squirrels that I shot this morning, one was still a little sleepy. I was trying to get a clear shot of his entire head, but I couldn’t get the angle needed. Still, that twig was gripped in the squirrel’s hind foot, so I guess it was a good trade-off. It was also a rare treat to catch this little critter sleeping. The more that I look at this picture, the more that I love it. I can’t look at it now without smiling. I also now tend to reflect upon the helplessness of nature as man continues to invade their environment. How many animals will lose their homes to man’s quest for more profit today, tomorrow, the years ahead?

Frankie has made himself at home as you can see. This shot was taken just before he took a nap on Tuesday afternoon January 6th 2009. In two weeks he has grown quite a bit and is a handful. Leaping, jumping, chasing anything, when he is not sleeping, eating or pooping. He is cuddled up on my husband’s T-shirt, draped over my husband’s office chair in the home office, while I am sitting at my computer. All the light on his head and fur is from the window just behind him. Frankie was rescued from the streets on Tuesday December 23/08 by my son Kevin.
