On Saturday I had an hour or so to kill before needing to be in Sleaford so I took a little drive around some of the back roads east of the town and ended up just outside Ewerby. I happened to have the EOS 400D with me and shot a very small set of images of the landscape just outside Ewerby Pylons are such a photographic cliché, but they’re also hard to resist. ;)
Night photography at Sleaford train station. Nikon EM / Nikon E-Series 50mm / TruPrint Film ISO 200 / f16 for 30s (I think!) / Taken with camera on the ground (either to give a mouse eye view or because I lack a tripod, you decide!) Please note: Due to some of my pictures having been scanned from prints, they are not of a high enough resolution to be sold on RedBubble. However, I keep all of my negatives, so if anybody is wishing to purchase any prints, please BubbleMail me to arrange something.
Probably the tiniest jewellers shop ever! I don’t know how they can fit a person in there. Today I took a short walk around Sleaford, taking my EOS 400D and Lomo Lubitel 166B with me. It will, obviously, be a while before I have scans of the shots I took with the 166B (there’s still some frames to be used on the film), but I have uploaded the photos I took with the 400D: Sleaford – 2009-01-24 You’ll note that they’re all shot with the Lensbaby Muse. I’ve actually made a point of taking it off the camera now and putting it away for a while — it was starting to get a little too addictive. ;-)

Last night I finished processing and uploading images from the latest roll of film through my Holga 120GN. The photographs were taken around Sleaford and Grantham: / Holga Around The Hub / Off Carre Street / No More DIY / Holga in Grantham Once again I’m really pleased with the results. The Holga really is a great little camera and all kinds of fun to use. The more I use it the more I’m glad I cracked and got one. And, as always, thanks to go my friendly Scottish landscape photographer for the processing and scanning.
