An old one, re-found. Think it was taken at Cactus Canyon with the water slapping against the shoreline in a distinctively loud and slow rhythm, adding of course, to a sense of deep peace.

You follow a path along the wall which takes you right over the hill at the lowest part of the Pentlands near Edinburgh, known as Cauld Stane Slap, to the other side near Carlops … an 8 mile walk which is popular with hikers – only thing, unless you’ve got someone to meet you with a car on the other side … you have to walk all the way back!!

Wooly’s eyes pop when something he doesn’t notice before suddenly moves around him. After the 3 days he accidentally spent outdoors, he’s been a very easily-spooked little guy. / We don’t pick him up and reward the reaction, instead we touch the challenging object. Then he waltzes up and slaps it. ” Once slapped, always conquored,” is how Wooly sees it. He’s very brave because he faces what scares him. Rescued: Probably once a day; from stuff he get into, LOL. Seriously, he’s a rescue from a yard sale, then he got lost outdoors till we rented a live trap from the SPCA and caught him in it. Then we had to rescue him from the trap- he was freaked out, and he’d been bumping his face into the bars on the top and sides so much his little fuzzy face was swollen. He galloped through the house 3 times before he realized he was home, indoors, with his humans and his cat partners. So the Wool’s had it tough for an emotional little guy.

How does that saying go again?? Slip into a seat, Slop on some sunscreen, and Slap a shirt on your head??? I was walking along the foreshore at Manly beach where I came across this couple, sitting and watching the waves. I was amused to see the man with his shirt rolled up in a ball, atop his balding head to prevent sunburn. You’d think that maybe a hat would do the trick? I love this show. We only get it here in short bursts of about 12 episodes at a time. But anything is better than Mr.Bean reruns. I heard that they have a new show now called NCIS: LA. Maybe we will get that next season.
