This is a photo taken at the Bachelor of Fine Arts Exhibition in the Dorothy Uber Bryan Gallery in the Fine Arts Center of Bowling Green State University. The juried show was an opportunity to display a full body of work containing the best images created by graduating seniors. This is the fully-rendered Alternative Digital Print of Hey Dizzle Dizzle. The Alternative Digital Print Method used is a Digital Print transfered onto wood. Graffiti-like spray paint technique was used as a border enhancing the image while giving it an urban-vintage appearance. This alternative process is also known as “fresco.” / Actual Exhibition Dimensions: 7’x4’ Hey Dizzle Dizzle is an Urban take on the well-known “Hey Diddle Diddle”. This is the second, of 6 urban nursery rhymes/fairytales that I have created. The rhyme from “Hey Diddle Diddle” Was not intended to make much sense but its purpose was for each line to rhyme in a funny way. My take on this Mother Goose rhyme adds another twist to this throwing elements of Hip Hop culture, multi-cultural friendship, African-American history and visual characteristics of minority culture. The text in this rhyme is: Hey Dizzle Dizzle / Tha Kat’z on tha Turn-Tizzle / Tha Cowz jumped ova tha Broom / Tha Lil’ Dawg Laughed at tha / Big Dawg’z shortz / Tha Satellite Dish ran away with Hiz spoon

Acronyms, keyboard symbols, and shortened words are often methods of abbreviation in Internet slang. A morris dance is a form of English folk dance usually accompanied by music. It is based on rhythmic stepping and the execution of choreographed figures by a group of dancers. Implements such as sticks, swords, and handkerchiefs may also be wielded by the dancers. In a small number of dances for one or two men, steps are performed near and across a pair of clay tobacco pipes laid across each other on the floor. There are claims that English records of the morris dance dating back to 1448 exist, but these are open to dispute. There is no mention of “morris” dancing earlier than the late 15th century, although early records such as Bishops’ “Visitation Articles” mention sword dancing, guising and other dancing activities as well as mumming plays. Furthermore, the earliest records invariably mention “Morys” in a court setting, and both men and women are mentioned as dancing, and a little later in the Lord Mayors’ Processions in London. Gentle typographical WTF design WTF, an internet slang acronym for “What the fuck?” / Internet slang (Internet language, netspeak, or chatspeak) is slang that Internet users have popularized and, in many cases, coined. Such terms often originate with the purpose of saving keystrokes, and many people use the same abbreviations in text messages and instant messaging. Acronyms, keyboard symbols, and shortened words are often methods of abbreviation in Internet slang. Curling is a team sport with similarities to bowls and shuffleboard, played by two teams of four players each on a rectangular sheet of carefully prepared ice. Teams take turns sliding heavy, polished granite stones down the ice towards the target (called the house). Two sweepers with brooms accompany each rock and use timing equipment and their best judgment, along with direction from their teammates, to help direct the stones to their resting place. The 58 rocks, worth about $1000 each, were used in the Victorian Curling Association’s competition. Each rock weighs about 22kg. The theft of the rocks, which happened sometime between Tuesday 16 June and Tuesday 7 July, was discovered after the competition resumed following a school holiday break. Police said the trailer, valued at $7,500, was stolen from a secure car park at the ice rink at Wonderlands Park at Docklands.
