  • I actually took this shot while “You’re not the only one” by Ammonia was playing on my Ipod. Great song fitting image. “Cuts like pins and needles, miles and miles away. I took the shot through the Windscreen of my car. I really like the effect, it seems quite sad and intimidating.

  • I adore the Hong Kong cityscape – there are these awesome buildings that are literally stacked against eachother, each building with its own intricate building block formation, stacked upon itself, interconnecting and forming the huge picture that is the Hong Kong cityscape. The use of repetition is expansive and seems to go on forever – gotta love that! There is also this futuristic component that exists in the architecture as well as industry poking through. Mmmmm industry….

  • Had to travel to Adelaide for work, was trapped inside all day, though managed to escape for about 30 minutes but being in the city this is as close to seeing the sunset as I got.

  • Taken from top of the Empire State Building, NYC, 10:00 PM. / It was so windy up there I had to jam my lightweight tripod against the wall with my knee to keep everything still. Originally shot on Fuji 100 ISO color print film (see insert below), scanned to digital on a Canon FS2710 negative scanner, then converted to BW.

  • World Trade Center a few months before 9/11, New York, USA

  • one of the few times I was actually glad somebody got in the way of my shot! totally adds to the hustle n’ bustle feel of NYC :)

  • A lego reconstruction of the famous 1932 photograph taken by Charles Ebbets.

  • This image was taken on the 2nd or 3rd floor of the Amex Building in New York. People were drawn to the view of the rebuilding of Ground Zero and were speaking so softly. Concurrent to the silent viewing is the incredible acitivity of rebuilding taking place in the area itself. Originally the glass wall seen here was opaque (marble, i think) but when the repairs were made to the building the marble was removed so that people could view Ground Zero. Shot taken with my little digital camera that i have since lost!

  • The Petronas Twin Towers, Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. This shot was taken on a recent work trip, I was fortunate enough to get a little time off to explore KL.

  • Being an environmentally friendly artist.. I decided I wanted to make the city a little “greener”. My advice is get it printed big.. because 1) it looks rather excellent printed big.. and 2) I make more money. Imagine this on your wall in your living room.. and the neighbours saying “he’s not very good he can’t even draw straight lines !” This work is also available as a SIGNED LIMITED EDITION PRINT please contact me for further details Available as a signed limited edition print direct from artist. / This work is also included in my Digital Landscapes Calender. • So I know there’s gotta be other people out there excited about the release of the new Batman Movie The Dark Knight, or is it just me? This is a tribute to possibly one of my favourite movies! This is also one of my first really serious attempts at creating some digital artwork in Photoshop. This is the result of me having a lot of time, sitting at home sick when I should be at work. The question is can you see Batman?? For this I started off with one of my pics of Melbourne, Australia from Southbank which was a HDR from 3 exposures. I then added in bats, flood lights, batman, the moon etc. and then once again a lot of tinkering in Lightroom to finetune :) This image has had over 5000 views Sales 1 Mounted Print 1 Poster Click here for my other images of Melbourne

  • I was out with one of my students the other night. We were on our way to the top of the NS Building and found this view from the 13th Floor. The borders top and bottom are actually the window-surrounds. I shot this at about f/7.1 for 2seconds, lens-hood removed, lens flat against the window with my weight pushing against it to brace it still. No tripod? Just improvise! Nikon D300 / Tokina 11-16mm f/2.8
