Short Hike in the Chartreuse massif, France. I was surprised by a thunderstorm. It wasn’t so violent and I could get under cover under the trees and under the rocks. I didn’t get so much wet. After the storm, I could see some wonderful light beams on west plain.

This is a rather odd choice for my first upload to RedBubble but the story goes thus… As part of my Pharmacy course we have to go on work placement in a rural location to learn about the challenges facing pharmacists outside the big smoke. This location can be anywhere in Australia. Naturally, we chose Port Douglas in tropical north Queensland, and had the time of our life. Unfortunately, one of the people I was travelling with had to fly back to Sydney early to go to a Jay Chou concert (I know, don’t ask). The drive from the airport back to Port Douglas was probably the most beautiful hour in my life – this photo doesn’t do it justice.
A view of Four Mile Beach in Port Douglas, Queensland. 4 miles of unspoiled silky soft sand framed by the world’s oldest rainforest. Oh and did I mention how refreshing the water is in the 30 degree heat? Well worth a visit.
