Technical note: What you see is a combination of 3 photos, first of the clouds, second of the land (in fact a gray office carpet, captured with shallow depth of field), and third of a running girl (cut out carefully from a stock image). I layered all 3 in PSP X2, added shadow to the girl, balanced saturation and brightness and merged everything together. Add Lior Goldenberg to your watchlist

  • This started out an a plain infrared image of the tree….. I may have gotten a little carried away because I just counted the layers and there were 15! The tree is in Edgeworth, Newcastle, NSW, near a new housing estate. It may be familiar to those of you who have been watching me for a while. I often like to go and visit this guy…hopefully he will be there for a while longer.

Maybe it’s what nature is all about, putting healing oxygen back into our world….. Canon 400D 17-85 with CIR Polarising filter. Converted to black and white in photoshop CS3.
