  • I adore the Hong Kong cityscape – there are these awesome buildings that are literally stacked against eachother, each building with its own intricate building block formation, stacked upon itself, interconnecting and forming the huge picture that is the Hong Kong cityscape. The use of repetition is expansive and seems to go on forever – gotta love that! There is also this futuristic component that exists in the architecture as well as industry poking through. Mmmmm industry….

  • This is one of my silver award winning prints from the 07 AIPP State awards. / I spent the week up in Surfer’s on the Gold coast – Hence no updates or nice comments for people. This is just one of the hundreds of photos i came up with – a simple pan of some of the hi-rise apartments. / The big pointy bugger is the Q1 building – the tallest residential building in the world.

  • Taken a few years ago, when I was living at Elphinstone ( near Castlemaine ).. This was my view every night when the sun went down. / What you see is what you get. / The Calder Hwy runs just below this ridge. / ( no enhancements ) ===================

  • Image captures reflections of the clouds, off a building in downtown Dallas. It was a beautiful day! If you are ever in this fine city, pay real close attention to all signs. It might be better just to grab a cab! As for me, I dont think I will ever go back, unless its in a police car and beyond my control. For making a left turn, with signs posted, its $190.00 . For failure to show, it another $60.00. If I am so lucky, a special trip to see even more of their fine city-——PRICELESS! / For $190.00, you would think you could get a live operator!

  • My Pentax K100D camera peered into the sky and captured darkness and light. The shadows in between two skyscrapers in Melbourne. This image has not been adjusted.

  • Taken from a 17th floor room at the Langham Hotel in Melbourne.

  • World Trade Center a few months before 9/11, New York, USA

  • My favourite spot on the way to work…. What you see is what you get. No enhancements.

  • The Petronas Twin Towers, Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. This shot was taken on a recent work trip, I was fortunate enough to get a little time off to explore KL.

  • I gaze wide-eyed up at the offices in London docklands canary wharf and wonder is that what window cleaners use…? I’m soo glad its not me up there.. ;) / / And a companion image lines up /

  • Every morning I go in to work and take the same route, that is, walk from the bus stop, go up the same flight of stairs and walk down the same hallway to get to my office. And every morning from that hallway window, I see this very building and pretty much every day (unless it’s a pretty grim day or raining) I think about how pretty the reflections of the clouds and sun really look (is it obvious yet that very simple things make me happy?). So it is pretty obvious that this would eventually make it as one of my photos. Needless to say that I have adjusted the contrast levels to make it a little more dramatic but bottom line, it’s just a picture of the building across the street …

  • Another from the couple of hours I was shooting at Bunkyou Civic Centre the other evening. This one was shot a little after the sun had gone down showing the amazing Shinkousha [Cocoon] building in Shinjuku on the right with the twin towers of the Tokyo Metropolitan Government building, Tocho, to the left. Mount Fuji had been hidden in cloud for most of the time me and mhy buddy Jonathan were shooting. But, for just ten minutes or so, it poked its head out the clouds. Snap! Gotcha. • Taken the last morning of a NYC trip I took to do a project at Google. The sky was amazing!

  • Santiago, capital city of Chile. This is the view from the top of the look out at St Lucia Park. The building that leads the climb to the top is seen in World Forgotten. There is nothing like being in a city and being able to see snow capped mountain tops in the near distance. (45 bus ride takes you to the Andes Mountains). As incredible a place as Santiago is, the city has unfortunately been built in a valley, which has trapped the smog and pollution over the years. The view of the Andes, as seen here, is slowly being obliterated by the smokey sky. After speaking with a few locals, they are predicting only 10 – 20 years until the view is faded away to smog totally. It will be a sad day indeed, when the Andes can’t be seen at such a short distance.
