This image is from my ‘online’ exhibition which I entitled ‘美:BI:BEAUTY’. This exhibition has three aspects – this is from one aspect which is an installation which I created from the box framed collages and Kanji cut-outs. / This collage has been created by assembling images from short-lived ‘gossip’ magazines and other such ‘mass media’ publications, which is the material I use and recycle as the major material component of this project. / These images are folded and distorted and I have playfully appropriated them to create this collage. (This collage has traditional origami flowers which are made from the recycled image.) / I used rectangular commercial box frame to ‘house’ this collage and I installed it in the square shadow boxes (h & w 29 cm x d 12 cm) which echo squares of origami paper.

He may be thin and dirty, but he still looks like he was smiling. I took the photo on a trip to Mexico. After the dog got a slice of cheese, he followed our car for close to a mile. Sad really.
