Drawn in 2004. Age 17. Only with a blue biro pen. This little chappy is called a Plar… Beneath his fragile form and past his adorable, alluring eyes is a courageous, determined, loving little creature. These creatures are going to star in a series of childrens books i’m working on. To see more concept art and ideas please have a little look below. Drawn 2008. Age 21. “In the cold dampness I quietly rest against the crumbling wall with my eyes closed; hoping in vain to be forgotten and left alone”* This was just a quick sketch using black biro pen on standard plan paper. I am hoping to expand upon this idea in a more developed drawing sometime in the distant future…

The North Sea at Whitby. The Herring boats at misty dawn, / To get the details of the boats correct, I’ve used a Victorian photo as the subject. I liked the very hard pen ink lines of the foreground, contrasting with the soft, misty, wet-in-wet background. 90 lb watercolour, medium rough paper. / 12”x8”

My art is based on everything I see around me. This is from the idea that eyes are the windows of the soul. A2 on cartridge papar with a G-Tec C4 0.4 pen. Can be viewed any way up it is up to you.

Eheh.. i hope no one’s too annoyed by me and my postings this week.. i’ve been away for a month, i mean!! that’s like being deprived of chocolate for a month!! O_O” So now, meet Schmoo, VECTORED!!! funny how i manage to redo this whole drawing in one night, with the scanned reference.. it’s like, i can just get the curves just how i want it to beeeeee…. hehehehehhehehe~ XD this is drawn in the same style as Frothie with lotsa lotsa lines!! 8D Warning: i just sketched Schmoo earlier in the morning.. it’ll be a Just for Laugh version.. but don’t worry, won’t upload it until i got Julian’s new look done.. he’s be tugging my tee all day.. After I demonstrated a few wave painting techniques, I later thought to join them up into a painting! A Spontaneous watercolour! Watercolour 14” x 10” on Bockingford rough 140lb. So far, nobody has spotted the little men in white shirts, clinging for life, to the torn-off mast (left side of painting). I’ve entered this into Impressionism Cafe,‘seascapes’
