Now available for sale! / I designed this poster for free from a nice young man in Belgium, who organises gigs for no profit to showcase established and uncovered bands from Europe. I really love this design & I believe it was very successful – I received countless hits on my website and myspace from all over Belgium the week of this gig. And who doesn’t love a music poster? It might not be a true retro keepsake, but it sure looks it!

Hi everyone…....well, I will be adding some new pieces to my portfolio this weekend some time and just wanted to mention in advance that things may be a bit chaotic (Helter – Skelter) since we don’t have categories or folders to load to…............I’ll do my best to load in some sort of an orderly fashion, but no promises!

  • ‘Helter Skelter’ written by Paul McCartney, but as with all Beatles songs was credited to Lennon/McCartney, was recorded by The Beatles on 1968 The White Album. The extract reads / ‘When I get to the bottom / I go back to the top of the slide / Where I stop and turn / and I go for a ride / Till I get to the bottom and I see you again / Yeah, yeah, yeah’ In British English / A helter skelter is an amusement park ride with a slide built in a spiral around a high tower. Users climb the tower and slide down usually on a mat. In American English / Carelessly hurried and confused or haphazard. Turmoil, pell-mell. Controversially it was one of several White Album compositions taken by Charles Manson as elaborate prophecy of a war to arise from racial tensions between blacks and whites.
