Blue is the colour of the sea, the colour of the sky…not always the colour of leaves. Nature forms the most beautiful patterns.
An abstract using the colours of a rainbow.
Some hydrangea blooms that were picked from my garden today.

These tiny balls of sand are rolled out of a hole by soldier crabs, after the tide has gone out.
A reward at the end of the day. This was my first attempt at HDR Equipment used: Canon 40D No treatment other than merging in Photomatix Image taken at South West Rocks NSW / HDR – Three bracketed shots Processed with Photomatix
thirteen…a very unlucky number A combination of many layers using textures that I have taken one my of my ’’Texture Excursions’ to get this grungy image.
This is using the tilt/shift technique. I had a flight over the city a while ago. Voted in the top ten of the Best Treatment Group – SydneyOpera House / .
The flowers are so fragile looking. I love the transparency of them.
The colour of this one was so vibrant. In total contract to the soft, ‘fluffy’ centre. I am totally convinced that this is where the garden fairy sleeps …:-)
A pretty fancy name for such a little flower. I decided to treat this with some textures for a series that I’m putting together. I’ve just bought this at the nursery yesterday. I’m always looking for something pretty to put in the garden. I’d love to say I’m an avid gardener, but that wouldn’t be honest of me. I love gardens, but not the work.
Wicker heart taken on concrete. One image treated three different ways in Lightroom2. These images were merged together in Photomatix and then tone mapped. Finally a few more adjustments in Photoshop to achieve this gritty image.

A lone water skeeter glides to a halt surrounded by his own ripples…
My friend’s dog Skeeter, the most hyper dog on the planet. Will fetch till YOU drop, LOL. The sunset was beautiful that day. Shot this with my Kodak Easy Share camera.
The TtV technique (processed in Photoshop CS3) This time with a daffodil side on. A few layers involving textures and frames. Quite fun to work on.
The dragonfly is a beautiful creature that has always captivated my curiosity. It symbolizes the illusions that we’ve created about growing and change, a symbol of sense that comes with maturity.
Skeeter Hawks are a slang name for Dragonflies in the southern United States.
This character was commissioned for a sports team’s logo in regional New South Wales around 1996. I now have no idea what the sport was, much less the team’s name. Well, okay, the team was probably called the Mosquitoes. The original logo was only used in black & white and spot colour. The colouring you see here is recent.
