  • The 21st Century has arrived. We have said ‘sorry’ to our indigenous population. There’s talk of a republic. So here’s my suggestion for a new flag. An INTERIM flag for using on the way to the great republic that shall unite all brothers – regardless of colour, origins or sexual preferences. It’s not the ultimate australian flag. It’s an interim one. Which means we could have it for the next 100 years. Assuming anyone anywhere liked it enough to even think of using it. I just thought it time to throw something in the mix…. Do not be shy. Break the rules and comment your opinions – good or bad. I invite honest comment and debate.

  • This painting is an accurate rendition of one of the most beautiful women I have ever met. She was that, yes. / Her eyes, strangely, strangely, sweetly, were naturally permanently dilated. She shared this bizarre trait with another woman that I loved fiercely… / Both of them were, and remain, monstrous. Utterly and uniquely… separate as the poles that ice our planet, different as nails from knives; from the deadness of a shattered spine to frothy seizure to poisoned wine. / Amy, this woman, is the most damaged person I have ever met. The best metaphor I have found falling from my own lips to describe her is this: / “She is a running chainsaw thrown into a crowded room.” / I will post a little more and tell a few shreds of the hell the fucking HELL that she caused, boiling sick in her deadly empty head. She SMILED for. every. moment. that. she listened. when i played it for her. Nothing Endless / These are the lyrics. / NOTHING ENDLESS, song for the Frail Sisterhood. I can see your faded heart Only Because I can see in the dark Behind the skin within Your carefully Attractive scars Mouthing silent answers Gently, through the glass Where it starts Promise me, baby That you will cut my arms Because I never, never Wanna have to ask CHORUS Bleed into me, and stay Kiss me as you fade away Find a way, find a way Crying, and afraid She wants hunger and hurting In a black fever humming So she is hunting in jeans Still sticky from sinning The un-healing taint That deep – wound of fate This is what she makes This is what it takes This is the shape This is what she makes This is the shape (Overlaid with chorus) Seven is the number If I wanna get her any wetter She needs me to hit her She aches, she aches For a hammer CHORUS X 2 The torn edge of the night Makes myou think that maybe, maybe it might Warm the cold streets and your bare feet Freezing small and white Soaking the edge of the sky The bloody, beautiful night The sweetness the softness The toxic… endless NIIIIIIIIIGGGGGGGGHT The way you live your life The torn edge of the night My love… my love. Close your blind, dying eyes.

  • The time is upon us, yet again, as we look within ourselves to find the new source of Light and regeneration. The Light returns as the Sun shifts and starts moving northward again…Winter! / In the circle of life, Winter represents the North direction, the place of our elders, the ancestors and knowledge. It is the time to honor our growth, by celebrating it and sharing it with others. It is the time when Nature throws you into yourself, so that you have to explore territory that might otherwise be unfamiliar. During this time, we acknowledge the Mother Earth’s renewal, when she’s lying dormant, seemingly asleep and the seeds of one season lie in the Earth energy that will allow them to burst forth into new life, when the warmth of the Sun returns from the South to warm her. / We gather our family and friends together to share and experience the knowledge of “All the Ages”, combining our strengths, talents and abilities to achieve Peace, Balance and Harmony… Seasons of the Heart Wishing each and everyone a Blessed Season of Joy, brotherhood/sisterhood and PEACE!!! I LOVE YOU – DOHIYI Apophysis, photoshop7, wacom graphic pad

  • Original watercolour by Mike Paget – 2009 – best viewed large. / For sale on the dreaded EBay until 29th January 2009! Sisterhood ‘We are joined through sisterhood. / And generations of women gone before, / We are as individual as the sun and moon, / But tempered of the same fire, / Therefore we are as one, For as surely as the Wheel does turn, / We cannot shed this ‘knowing’, / Our power is in our strengths combined, / We are Woman… And in that word, / Are the ties with which we’re bound. From an original poem by Pauline Khong.

  • My dear brother Kumar was recently approached by Robert Matthews of the Freedom in Words group to come up with a series (under the eyes of the group) on how to become an artist… Kumar and I have discussed our “R”evolution (as in the dance of life) being a process of change in a particular direction, perception or thought pattern. / We agreed I would kick off the idea with this piece of artwork representing ‘United Thought’: as we join, combine and corporate to form a single “WHOLE”, we connect closer to the Universal energy of totality. The known objects and phenomena that all existing things, including the Earth and it’s creatures, the heavenly bodies, and everything throughout space – is affected by us, involves us all, and concerns us to act for the good of all – we would experience a new sense of power. Not in the capacity to possess control or command over others, but ascend to being effective in force. / “WE” as united spirits have the power and ability to produce valid results, in effect, begin to function as the humans we were intended to be – HUMANE! Humane is characterized as being tender, compassionate, merciful, kind, gentle, charitable, creative and sympathetic. / In my own artistic pursuits, I consider the creative force my dharma (sanskrit word meaning one’s righteous duty or virtuous path) which literally translates to ‘that which upholds or supports’, my own path to achieving UNITY in thought, action and deed. This artwork was created on a blank white canvas in photoshop with my Wacom Graphic pad/pen, edited/colored in photoshop and Redfield fractilius plug-in specifically for this endeavor. • A sister is a gift to the heart, a friend to the spirit, a golden thread to the meaning of life. / -Isadora James I am in the space of such profound Gratitude and Love for my Sisters in this world, many of whom I have connected with here in this magnificent bubble. • _Blue Heron…Thank you, Sacred Waterbird, / for sending reflections to me; / The mirrors of the quest for life, / The words that live inside of me. Show me how relationships work, / With my path woven within the whole, / The lessons of kinship with all life, / Reflecting my spirit’s eternal goal. Jamie Sams_ The medicine of Blue Heron is self-reflection, and asks if you are willing to dive into the watery depths of your own feelings and discover the role of your spiritual essence? Heron is now calling you to delve deeper, to know yourself, and to trust your path. Like the Phoenix, who rises from its own ashes, Heron emerges from the unseen worlds of spirit into a new balanced sense-of-self in order to ebrace its potential again and again. / The magnificence of your human spirit lies waiting for the joy of discovery, if you are courageous enough to follow the Waterbird throughout the journey. Heron reminds you that every traveler on life’s journey is a messenger, and that every destination is the beginning of a new life cycle on the Medicine Wheel. Reflections Photograph taken at Wind River Ranch, as is, while speaking to my sister/friend Judi Taylor ~ love ya lots sis ;) xoxox ♥
