Taken at Point Roadknight just minutes from Anglesea. The Great Ocean Road passes close by in Victoria, Australia. Also part of the Great Otway National Park that runs down much of the coast from Torquay right across to Port Campbell. HDR from 3 exposures, white balance adjusted in Lightroom as well as a few other minor touch ups.

Sometimes I’m amazed by how such a simple subject can turn out into such a beautiful image. So initially when the leaf dropped into the water, I wanted to capture the ripples in the water, but then the water turned so silky smooth and I just had to fire away. Probably best viewed in large format.

~ Twin Falls ~ Trail head at Camp Orr in the Buffalo River Wilderness, Arkansas Usa. / The beautiful picturesque Twin Falls now has an added beauty right beside it due to all the rain we have had in the last month. Shot this photo in the pouring rain, using my uni pod, and with my camera on auto, and of course the umbrella was a must! LOL! It was quite the challenge steadying the camera, juggling the umbrella, all the while with the lightning flashing, and the forest canape swirling in the strong winds of the storm, which caused tornadoes in many surrounding areas. By the time I finished this shoot I was soaked to the bone, but this shot and the many others I shot were all worth every moment. BUT MY CAMERA REMAINED DRY!!!!!! / I am real happy with the silky water, as I have no means to set my camera for timed shots. / Taken 5-8-09

Lake Falls in Matthiessen State Park is possibly the most magical, spiritual waterfall I have ever photographed. It is special and always blesses me with a wonderful spiritual feel to it. It inspires me to be religous in some way that I cannot explain. / The whirlpool is like God. He has no beginning and no end.

The Fulford Village Fair (York) is held on August Bank Holiday Monday every year with stalls, games, childrens’ & parents’ races, tug of war, mini steam engine rides, sometimes a tank and always a fire engine. / In the Exhibition Hall you will find giant carrots, perfect onions, red roses, paintings, cakes, bread, embroidery, handicrafts and photographs. This year I entered for the first time, submitting two images. / Icy Diamonds took second prize in the General Black & White category. / Icy Diamonds My Girlies took first prize in the Colour Portrait category. / Not only that, they won the Gate Fulford Cup for Best in Show! / WOW!!!!!!!!!!!
