The sun was fading on this Spring day as I completed a walk around the 7 kilometres of fortress wall in the old Korean city of Suwon. The sky was the most captivating shade of blue that I couldn’t resist setting the chimneys in near sillhouette against it. I loved the way the fading light added darkness to the old bricks, giving a more industrial feel.
