Another camel shot for the camel enthusiasts. This was from a different perspective than the earlier one. Taken on Cable Beach Broome WA at Sunset.
Flax and toe toe silhoette at Baylys Beach NZ /
Another of the Beautiful Anonymous (BA) pieces. This one was done with traditional mediums that I scanned and put together digitally. The girl is completely black biro pen (I know there are a few big fans of that sort of drawing out there) I so greatly adore this one. Hope she might spark a bit of adoration in others too
Statue of Brigadier General Gouvernor K. Warren taken at Little Round Top overlooking the battlefield (including Houck’s Ridge) in Gettysburg. Worth a visit if you ever get the chance. Thanks for looking (as always… best viewed large). Featured in Statues and Such

Planning on making a body of works with these sorts of drawings. Beautiful Anonymous – born of the idea that we obsess over people of beauty whom we don’t actually know, yet they can infuse and control so many aspects of our lives (our self image, or consumer choices, our affections, etc.) / Yet the idea is also reflective of each person’s individual view of beauty. These are silhouettes, you can give her whatever face your heart desires. The work is too large to scan and the photo doesn’t really capture the right details. It’s graphite drawing with ink sprayed background.
Spencer Street Railway Station, Melbourne.
Final picture in the trilogy – needs no explaining
A great silhoette veiw, with lots of boats, angles, shapes and sizes.. and a stunning view aswell taken in mudeley
By the way they held their necks, I’m guessing these were Tundra Swans. Their “V’s” are generally smaller than Canada Geese and Snow Geese. Middle Creek Wildlife Management Area near Kleinfeltersville, Lancaster County, PA. Nikon D300 / Nikkor 70-300mm AF VR lens / 300mm / 1/2000 sec / f22
I took this photo yesterday down at Fremantle in Western Australia . I thought the lighthouse silhouettes would look good against the sunset .
From the storied shores of Loch Ness in the Scottish Highlands, comes this late day photo. The sun has already dropped down below the hills and clouds illuminating the sky in a spectacular way. Alas no Nessie sightings, but a memory that will last for years anyway.
