  • *model/ concept: Art laugh because it’s funny, and cry because it’s so pitifully true, guys… the fact remains that even if you’re a talented design/ art/ photography student, the size of your income may not always be quite so proportionate to the size of your skill. (of course, if you throw in a heavy dose of prayer and ambition, THEN the equation changes…) special thanks to Art for coming up with the idea for this photo, and just being ballsy enough to do this at a freeway exit, where I’m sure drivers were more than a little weirded out by what they saw oh, and by the way… do you guys remember the good ol’ days when we thought $2.87 for a gallon of gas was expensive? we were young, naive and innocent then… fun fact: this photo is nearly two years old! I took this back in late 2006 when I didn’t even have my dSLR yet! I normally don’t go back that far when searching for past photos that are worthy of being tweaked in the lab, but this one was special :)

  • 2nd Avenue at 23rd Street, NYC Copyright

  • Couldn’t resist this old, abandoned building in Williamstown, Melbourne. Not a straight line to be seen, peeling paint, graffiti – and such character! /

  • The image has been created as an alternative to the popular and greatly exaggerated theory of global warming and its consequences. Since global warming activists predict a dramatic change of the planet’s surface in the nearest future, the Ice Age Premonition portrays our society in the new Ice Age. / Ice Age – A cold period marked by episodes of extensive glaciations alternating with episodes of relative warmth. Any geologic period during which thick ice sheets cover vast areas of land. Such periods of large-scale glaciations may last several million years and drastically reshape surface features of entire continents. A number of major ice ages have occurred throughout the Earth’s history; the most recent periods were during the Pleistocene Epoch. There have been at least four major ice ages in the Earth’s past. The last glacial period ended about ten thousand years ago. / Surrealism art prints / Digital art prints / Fantasy digital art wallpapers

  • Inspired directly from all the horror movies I’ve ever watched. You’re on the run from whatever it is chasing you this time. You fine a phone, run to it in hope but lo and behold, it’s disconnected. You turn to keep running, but the thing you have been running from is there, and you run right into it.. That was your last life line. Goodbye. This was taken in the underpass between Degraves Street and Flinders Street Station, Melbourne. The entire underpass is trapped in an art deco time warp. Light pink tiles on rounded walls, window box displays, metal sign work, and this in particular. Curving into a small alcove where a telephone must have once stood. Original shot, layered twice. Colour altering and fading on original, darkening on layer. Texture added from www.deviantart.com stock. Featured in Australia! You’re Standing In It / Featured in Architectural Details / Featured in Dimensions Canon 50D / 58mm, 18 – 55 / f5, 1/60, ISO 800 All editing and processing completed 11.30pm MCN: C2BXG-TS6DX-T83SH
