Siesta Key Beach in Sarasota, FL has the most fantastic beach with yards and yards of white quartz sand. It is like sugar. You can spend the whole day relaxing and getting in a good book! Taken with a Canon XTI. /

Taken from the beautiful inlet of Kiholo Bay on the Big Island of Hawaii. The inlet was formed when a relatively recent lava flow penetrated the sea, forming a preserve where dozens of green sea turtles rest during the day.

Two colorful chestnut adult horses, one a pinto, stand watch over a chestnut overo pinto foal during the drowsy time of mid-morning on a sunny summer’s day. I used lavendar, yellow-green, and grass green to suggest the warmth and light of the day.

This is my other Cat Basil. :) Basil is about 18 years old now and had all his teeth removed when he was about 10. I guess with all the fuss over Jordy for the last 6 months or so, a lot of people wouldn’t realize that I have Basil and my little dog Fudge as well. Basil is a much more quiet Kitty who would prefer to spend all his time inside and sleeps at my feet on the end of the bed every single night. I guess at his Golden age … he isn’t going to go out on the town every night ;)
