Nikon D70 / focal length: 35 / aperture: 22 / shutter: 8 sec / time taken: 10:04am / date taken: 5/18/07 / filter: Cokin, neutral grey ND4 / used a tripod By this time of day the sun was getting really hot. I had to put the filter on in order to get the effect of the water I wanted. I always shoot in Manual mode with my waterfall pictures. I used selective color and curves to enhance the effects. I try to get the water as highlighted as possible without losing much detail and keep the contrast at a high level. I tried to use the rocks to frame the picture, let me know what you think about this technique. /
I pass this every day….but this morning was different! HDR with some PS curves and colour work.

This sunset photograph was taken in the west of Jersey in the Channel Islands. It was shot with an aperture of f/22 giving a 1.3 second exposure. A 3 Stop ND grad filter was used to try and balance the sky and foreground. /
Taken in one of the many backstreets inBarcelona just after a torrential downpour. I had only picked up the camera a day before we flew out (my first DSLR – Sony alpha a100) and to be honest this was just a quick practice shot when playing with all the dials and twiddly bits.
this image is straight out of the camera with no post processing or editing. I used light painting to get this effect.
The same design as “cedric”, only less hostile :) We just click 1. Yourself and photograpahy/cameras get on so well, it’s like you’re the same person. 2. We photographers don’t hurt anybody. We just click photos.

Just getting some gas…. This shot is straight from the camera and this is the original jpg. I took a similar shot a week ago but knew I could do better. This is my second attempt at the technique. I improved the white balance so the flash to my face was the same WB as the light trails. I also went for a more traditional composition with the positioning of my reflected face. This was the second time to mount my camera on the outside of my car. I am slowly gaining confidence in the DIY car mount I built. Camera: Canon EOS 40D / Exposure: 4 / Aperture: f/10.0 / Focal Length: 11 mm / ISO Speed: 100
Wind has always fascinating me !
Shot in the little village of Padula , Italy —-— / Best viewed LARGE / —-— / I intentionally kept the saturation low because a more vibrant color looked too unnatural to me
