Sheep Shutes on an outback shearing shed. This one is in Hay at the Shearers Hall of Fame
Taken at Shute Harbour near Airlie Beach on the Whitsundays. This shot was actually taken on my honeymoon (quite a few years ago now) from the balcony of where we stayed.
Featured in Rivers, Lakes and Dams group JAN 2009. Abbeystead is a small, picturesque village located in West Bowland, in Lancashire, England. ORTON EFFECT
The Whitsundays is an area where it is physically impossible to stop yourself from taking photos! For example, who could resist a scene like this? And this is just one of countless similar shots to be had in the area around Shute Harbour and Airlie Beach. / This region is about an hour south of Townsville in far north Queensland and around 1000 kms north of the capital, Brisbane. It is a true tropical paradise that is always a big wrench to have to leave.
Cowboy up! Here a cowboy gets ready for his ride. Other cowboys help him get set while still others look on. Taken at the Australian Pro Bull Riding Championships in Melb 2008 /
