  • I shot this at the southern tip of Tasmania around 9pm Daylight savings time. This is a bay called Surveyor’s Bay. Tassie is just so gorgeous. Pristine, untouched (almost) and wonderfully peaceful. I hope the shot conjours up some quiet time for all who view it :) If you like this, you’ll love my Australian Beaches Calendar!! You can get this shot and 11 other beautiful beach shots for just $30 :) /

  • Off the beaten track, down a sheer cliff face and across a few rocks you’ll find a very nice place to take a photo :) If you like this, you’ll love my Australian Beaches Calendar!! You can get this shot and 11 other beautiful beach shots for just $30 :) /

  • Sanibel Island, on the southern Gulf shore of Florida, is a lovely place to vacation. It is considered a sheller’s paradise and is ranked number one of American beaches noted for seashells. It also has some glorious sunrises and sunsets; this was daybreak on the island in late July 2008.

  • The South Shore coastline by Spittal Pond in Smith’s Parish, Bermuda.

  • Remains of a sailing vessel washed ashore off Carpenters Rocks, South East South Australia. The boat is submerged in sand and is only visible like this on low tides with slight winds. Slowly being broken down by the ocean waves. Had to wade out to get this shot as it was…

  • Blossom’s_Photo_Gallery She Sells Sea Shells by the Sea Shore ============================================== / Sold a Laminated Print – (271mm x 203mm) ============================================== / New South Wales Jervis Bay National Park, New South Wales.

  • Experimenting with Digital TTV ( – Not a Photoshop filter) – my first time! This is a very anonymous picture. Each of the three visible characters (dog included) are entirely personality-less, due to their backs being turned or heads obscured. And yet, the camera’s angle is facing up to the characters, from a very low angle. Draw conclusions to this as you wish.

  • Hawaii is world famous for astounding sunsets. This firey Maui sunset was captured from Makena Landing in South Maui. The island of Lanai is seen in the distance. • A re visit today to the shipwrecked sailing vessel, “Pisces Star” that came aground over ten years ago near the Lighthouse at Carpenters Rocks, Limestone Coast, South Australia. Extremely low tide today and great sky’s allowed for some panorama sets with an old tripod sitting in salt water…. Canon 400D – 18-55 with CIR Polarising lens. 5 shot set stitched in Photoshop CS3.

  • A re visit today to the shipwrecked sailing vessel, “Pisces Star” that came aground over ten years ago near the Lighthouse at Carpenters Rocks, Limestone Coast, South Australia. • I made this sculpture a few years ago for my upstairs foyer. It’s almost 8 feet long by 16” wide at its hips. I drew the form and cut the base out of plywood. Painted that. I live near Lake Michigan and one day I took a trash bag with me and filled it as far as I could with driftwood. Brought it home, let it dry, and then laid the wood on top of my form. To my delight, I used up everything in my bag and it completely filled the piece. I felt like I had been working backwards on a puzzle. Then I painted the entire piece. I like how the wood I chose ended up looking like bones. She is a quiet presence in my house. It’s never been exhibited.

  • Lupin on the shores of Lake Pukaki, Mt Cook, South Island,New Zealand.

  • Like some watch tower of ancient times, this stack in Marsden Bay in South Shields, Tyne and Wear, just caught a fast moving spot light of the sun through the clouds. The broken rock and pebbles on the shore seemed to be mirrored by the clouds as they raced over. Converted into pinhole black and white to highlight the almost prehistoric feel to this bit of coast line Best viewed large.

  • The view along the Lees headland just south of Sandhaven Beach in South Shields, Tyne and wear. This stretch has this wonderful aspect of looking like fingers reaching into the sea, trying to hold on the to the eroding shoreline Converted into black and white pinhole Best viewed large Featured by the kind hosts of the Northern landscapes Group
