One of my older shots of Forrest but still my most favorite, hopefully you enjoy it as much as I do. Forrest is a German Shepherd. He is also my most loyal friend. This house was next to my father-in-law’s place in the Algarve, southern Portugal, and every morning these dogs rested their snouts in these roof windows while taking a snooze. They couldn’t believe I waited almost a week before taking their picture!

Oshie, a rescue dog, checks out the beach during a beautiful sunrise on the beach in Port Orford, Oregon. Oshie is a shepherd mix who loves to run on the beach… and roll in unidentifiable dead things that she finds. She somehow became unwanted by her former owner when she was only about a year old. Harley was catching snowflakes on his tongue today. If you look closely, you can see some on his tongue. Harley is now eight years old. We adopted him when he was six years old. He is a golden retriever/australian sheperd mix, with some chow. When we see Harley being lighthearted like this, we can see the dog he was meant to be. Harley does have some bagged from when he was in a shelter all those years, but who cares - WE LOVE HIM for who he is, inspite of past hangups! WE WORK THROUGH BAGGAGE! Well it’s Sunday again and there they sit with their vanilla lattes all comfy on the sofa, settled in for the day of football. Can’t they see the sun is shining and it would be an awesome day to go out and play in the mountians. Ever since they got that damn NFL Sunday Ticket this is how the day is spent what a waste. I think I might need to find a new family that doesn’t watch football.
