Another stop at a Greek Port, Cofru I think… I love the fact we dock at these industrial ports, there is just so much to see and take in… my kind of landscape for sure.

Lots of sea shells
What can I say? I have a thing for shells and water. I just love them.
Last Sunday I wend down to Sculpture By The Sea at Bondi Beach. The sky was amazing. It rained all the way down in the car (at 5am) then stopped as I parked. The clouds threatened rain for the 90 min I was taking photos, but then just as I was getting ready to go, a window opened up in the clouds and beautiful golden light streamed over the sculptures. The dark threatening clouds made the perfect backdrop. This image is a 3 shot HDR image. I printed this image up and it looks great in my hall… It has become one of my favorites.

For this one I waded out under the Sandgate bridge at dawn & took a 10 sec exposure @ f16. / Then I kept the camera in position & waited, waited, waited until the bird flew past and took a shot at 1/180. / Then I combined the two photos in a little program you might know called photoshop. / I can see this one working well on a large canvas.
As cyclone Hamish approaches the Fraser Coast, the clouds turned rather erie, wind was picking up, and you got the feeling it’s time to move. First day using my Ultra Wide lens, Rainbow Beach, looking North over Fraser Island coastline. Canon 50D, 10mm ultra wide. Available very large, best viewed LARGE :)

Someone asked me to sum up my life in a nutshell the other day ~ I couldn’t really put it into words so I created an image instead. / Since my son went off to college my poor husband now has to be my ‘hand model’! So these are my husband’s hands, the walnut from leftover Christmas hamper (!) and the baby free stock/deviant art / Hope you enjoy and thanks for stopping by
