  • This small rock pool is found in Cabbage Tree Bay, along the pathway between Manly and Shelly Beach on Sydney’s northern beaches. The sculpture/statue is known as The Oceanids. This image was a 30 second exposure nearly an hour before sunrise with the pool wall and sculpture lit up by a nearby street light. This image has also won a photo of the week at photographer Steve Parish’s Photograph Australia website.

  • This is a print of the original piece entitled “I will wait for you here” / It was hand drawn with ink and digitally altered with color and texture. The background is old fabric that was scanned and copied into the print. I absolutely adore this piece. It shoots me right back to fifth grade when my best friend had her dad build us a swing in the woods. I used to swing for hours looking up at the birds…and wait. Im not sure what I was waiting for back then…but it didnt matter, I was happiest there. This print is available for purchase as cards that you can mail to someone you adore (Or more likely, keep for yourself and frame!) and a few prints. You can always view more of my work here: / www.dazeychic.etsy.com Thanks so much for looking! ~Shelli

  • Meet Mo. He is a little squirrel who loves the quiet of the darkness. He loves making wishes and shooting them into the sky towards the twinkling stars! Will his wishes all come true? This is a print of an original illustration that I did with ink and digitally colored. Mo and Teeny are two little squirrels that live in my head….they had to come out eventually! Mo is available for limited prints and cards. Thanks for looking! ~Shelli xoxo / More of my work is available here: www.dazeychic.etsy.com

  • This is a print of one of my “rough” sketches that started out as a tiny doodle in my sketch pad…it turned into something bigger…and I fell in love with it. I just follow my pencil…whatever it does I go with. This was hand drawn and then enhanced digitally to give the piece color. I did not erase my pencil lines because I feel it adds some needed character and personality! I love the green…Im so loving green lately! Anyway, its available for purchase as cards and a canvas print. / Thanks for looking! ~Shelli

  • A vine clings to the wall with hand-like grabbers as it searches for the sun. / / / / © Shelley Heath (aka Soul Creates), Copyright 2008, All rights reserved.

  • One of the reasons I love Redbubble so much, is the inspiration that other artists give me. Some time ago my australian mate Michael Bermingham posted Old Yanchep Inn which to me is a timeless classic. Then Shelly Hiebert posted Sacred which is just a fantastic image. I always wanted to get a shot similar to both of those and digging through my archives back to 2007, I came across this image I took with my Nikon D50 in the Madison State Capitol building. A little HDR processing, converted to B&W, little noise reduction applied, some Dodge & Burn (which Kimberly Palmer first introduced me to) and this is what I came up with. Please also look at Michael’s and Shelly’s image, as well as Kimberly’s work.
