Taking a good close look at the inner world of flowers and such never disappoints me. There’s always beauty I would have sadly missed had I not done so.

The last rays of sunlight cast a lovely glow on Lake Martin and made its surface resemble sheets of copper colored glass. The silhouettes of the cypress trees, draped in Spanish moss, added a special touch and completed the scene of what I’d call a perfect ending to a perfect day.

A beautifully coloured bearded iris. When the sun shone behind the petals it enhanced the sparkly, golden flecks of colour. I’ve never seen a flower sparkle so much before! It really was an amazing sight :) Full view is best!

This weekend Canby, Oregon hosted the Oregon Flock and Fiber Show. It’s a huge event and there were plenty of sheep, alpacas, llamas, goats and rabbits. These goats were so cute because you couldn’t see their eyes.
