(Dedicated to Shawn and his father John Lennon) NOW! This is just a too cool a tale to not tell. I’ll try to cut it short. Met Shawn Lennon—90’s. A very intense conversation with him—this is to say the least. His father is one of my soul-role-models. I wrote a poem dedicated to his son and him and the song ‘Instant Karma’. I go online to here , today-RB. I read a poem just posted by Louilou. It moves me to somehow recall this poem. I pull it from my files. I rework it. I go back online to comment Louilou’s poem and post this one. Before I send it, I notice there’s some Redbubble mail in. I check it. It’s from Louilou about a poem I wrote—one of her piece inspired it. In her mail, she all too graciously humbles herself and I reply with this amazing story about a poem focused on fear, pain, and instant karma. Life is amazing!
