“At 10pm one night at Kangaroo Point, I decided to go for a wander and find some nice vantage points from which to capture panoramas of the city. As I walked along the base of the cliffs and toward the Story Bridge I could hear the roar of the crowds of people living it up in nightclubs across the river. It was a beautiful night and I’m glad I was able to capture this image to share it.” This digitally stitched panorama is based on a series of 40 second exposures. To give an example of the full size of this image, here is a 100% crop of the top of the leftmost building – the Riparian Plaza. Enjoy!
This is a panorama from Mount Coot-tha taken on Easter Sunday, 2008.

Sometimes Koko goes by the alias Kookoo…because she keeps us in stitches. This picture is just her latest antics. I had a hard time not laughing while I took this shot! Yeah, and laughter is really great for discipline, too! Ha! The stuffed dog in this picture belongs to our grandson, Shaun. Koko knows all too well that she is not supposed to be in the bedroom snuggling up to “Puppy”, but sometimes she cannot resist the temptation. Well OK, she frequently cannot resist. Oh heck, I guess if I am going to be factual about it you could say that EVERY AFTERNOON she cannot resist this temptation! When I walked into the room and said, “KOKO”, she opened one eye and looked at me sheepishly. Now, what you can’t see is in this photo is her tail swishing back and forth furiously in the “Please don’t be mad at me” tempo. The little rat has also learned that when Mom has her camera she is never mad, so she didn’t even bother getting up! I guess I am going to have to work on that discipline!
