Our friendly smurf travelled Australia for 2 years on the dashboard of a matching blue and white 1976 ford transit motor home before having the front windscreen rain down upon it in a random act of vandalism. acrylic on canvas / slightly altered in ps this piece was not so easy to do, i had to dig into my mind, into parts shut off shut down blocked off but always there… / this is a glimpse into how i came to be who i am today. Theres a story to this / based on true events / tho i’ve never understood it / it has never made sense / how one who was given all of my trust / all of my love and all of my lust / crushed it and twisted me / til there was nothing much left / broken and bruised / and living regret / These were my dark days / my youth mispent / when my heart belonged to a monster / and my shattered soul wept / Years went by in this madness / why i cannot say / but this event depicted here / was the beginning of the end of my dark days / he tried to put out the light that i am / he attempted to end it all / but that fate was not the fate meant for me / and somehow i survived the fall Domestic abuse happens everywhere, both in seen and unseen places, / it isnt somethin only depicted on tv, its real and its happening. / and not just to those you’ll never meet / one day it mite happen to you / or someone you love / one way we can help fight this injustice / is awareness, education, resources and aide for those in need. / Intolerance of abuse against women, children, even some men…, of any nature, is needed to break the cycles of abuse and neglect. / We need more Resources. The human race needs Help. / Help make the world we’re in a better place / we’ve only the one world and we’ve all got to share it. / lets strive for a better tomorrow for our children today. thankyou for taking the time to view my art and (hopefully) comment… / please have a look at my other artwork… / hope you enjoy! :) /

A collaboration with keleka656, thank you so much for letting me use a version of your image…Another Snow Day. Lancelot and Guinevere Lancelot had one failing, his adultorous love of Queen Guinevere. They tried to keep this love secret, it became known, and eventually brought about the undoing of the Round Table. Lancelot and Guinevere’s love for each other grew slowly. Initially Guinevere kept Lancelot away from her. Eventually, however the pair became lovers. Soon the pair were discovered…Guinevere was seized and condemned to burn to death for her adultery. Sir Lancelot returned several days later to rescue his Guinevere, killing several of King Arthur’s knights in the process. Lancelot ended his days as a hermit and Guinevere became a nun at Amesbury where she died.
