  • Eagle river. Colorado Fuji Velvia /

  • A once it a lifetime image. This hasn’t been altered or photoshopped in any way. Even in the plant world you can find love. A lonely mangrove hoping to attract another lonely mangrove. Taken at Weyba Creek, Sunshine Coast.

  • Yes, the inflight movies were boring. That’s why, when I spotted ice crystals forming on my aeroplane window and realised I had my Tamron 90mm macro lens handy, I decided to dedicate some time to capturing some of them properly. This was probably the best one. The vaguely rainbow-coloured background is based on the actual even more vague colours bounced off the window (ie. this photo has had its saturation enhanced)... but really it’s the natural and random formation of the crystals and their ‘artistic’ placement that I was captivated by.

  • I love how water clings to different objects and creates such shapes… This is just an ordinary dandelion puffy thing after it rained one day. Taken with a Sigma 105mm macro lens…

  • The painting is based on a photo I took on Dartmoor a few years ago. The light was fantastic and I’ve expanded on that to create this vibrant landscape.

  • Heart Built on Tears These are individually placed waterdrops on a CD. The colors come from how the light is refracted on the surface. It’s really easy to arrange shapes since you can just drag the drop with any sharp object and it will stay perfectly spherical and not loose any water :) So this is a bit feminine, but boo double standards :) / These are the descriptions I give on dA —-—-—-—-—-—-—-—-—-—-—-—-—-—-—-—- / Location: Portland, OR / Date: August 30th, 2008 / —-—-—-—-—-—-—-—-—-—-—-—-—-—-—-—- Camera: Canon Digital Rebel XSi (450D) / Lens: Canon Macro Lens EF-s 60mm f/2.8 / Focal Length: 60 mm / Flash: Built-In Shutter Speed: 1/60 sec / Aperture: 2.8 / ISO: 400 / — MY PHOTOGRAPHS ARE COPYRIGHTED AND NOT FOR USE OF STOCK, CANNOT BE REDISTRIBUTE, EDITED, AND/OR COPIED WITHOUT MY PERMISSION. • I have always loved Sea urchins and have always collected them from when i was a child right up into adulthood. They would be the first thing I would look for when I got out of my car and my feet hit the sand on the beach. Suprisingly there arent that many to be found anymore on the beach where I have always gone to find them. sony ax 300 SLR 70 – 200ml lense.
