In recent years it has become a ritual, when visiting my parents in Boston, to walk at Arnold Arboretum. I encourage all who live in or visit the area to enjoy time there.

As you head up the slope of the road hanging on to the edge of the valley towards Reeth from Gunnerside, you get these amazing views across the valley. On this day, you could have walked a step, taken twenty shots and then repeated the process all day. Shot in the Yorkshire Dales

This is one of the many clearings found along the trails that deer love to travel through. We saw a herd of them but they disappeared before I could get a picture… It didn’t really matter – the view fun and the weather was beautiful! Taken looking down from one of the cliffs of Stinson Mountain in Rumney, NH, March 15th, 2009. As is, untouched straight from the camera.

Another lonely bike, last snow of the 2009 season. Morning Shot before the sun melted everything. I liked the angles and lines of the bike holders, fence and shadows they made

Sunny Winterday at the beach – series / Pics made in december 2008 – Blankenberge/ Belgium It was sunny and it had frozen. The low winter sun through the fence made the path into an abstract painting of shadowlines contrasting perceptions: colours, light and shades, the soft curved lines of dunes and paths vs. the straight had lines of shadows and fence Photograph made with Pentax K10D camera. Comments and feed-back always welcome. Thanks for looking :) / Fascinating ice crystals-6 ——
