This is one of the many clearings found along the trails that deer love to travel through. We saw a herd of them but they disappeared before I could get a picture… It didn’t really matter – the view fun and the weather was beautiful! Part of my series World from Above, taken on an air tour in a Cessna plane from Phoenix to the Grand Canyon. Near the San Francisco Peaks north of Flagstaff, Arizona. It was mid March and there was still some snow around and very long shadows. Nikon D70. Sigma 18-200mm.
