Looking upwards in the Maria-Magdalena-Church in Freiburg one can see (on a sunny day) the broken shadows that dance along the tilted walls. I must have passed this piece of public art in Trafford Park, Manchester hundreds of times, but, on this January day, it grabbed my attention as if for the first time as the low winter sun cast this incredible distorted shadow onto the warehouse wall behind it.

Old woods in front of an old sandy wall. The orange spots are representing the sunset light, while the shadow of the woods are giving a 3D effect. Original is painted with acrylic sandpaste, in oil on canvas. The canvas shows its natural structure also in the print. Print on canvas is recommended.
