Lonely benches / Benches of the world, in different situations, in different seasons, but with no one sat on them: I called them ‘lonely benches’. Bancs solitaires / Des bancs du monde, dans différentes situations, à différentes saisons mais sans jamais un personnage assis : Je les ai appelé des ‘bancs solitaires’.

The Pinnacles Desert gets its name from the thousands of weathered rock pillars that have been uncovered by the blowing sands. Their true beauty is found at sunrise and sunset when the shadows play on the rippled sands of the desert.
