This little mule deer fawn was resting in a friend’s yard in Colorado Springs, Co. We have a population of about 500,000 people but we still have wildlife living in our yards and on corporate grounds.

I was walking along the beachfront in Playa Blanca when I saw this strange looking structure. I was so taken by it’s form and the way it interacted with the sun. My only regret is that I did not think to go back when it was a full moon and shoot it then! This is one of my favs! Hope you like it too! PS. I have a larger version of this which can be made into a larger prints if requested.
