‘At low tide OREGON BEACH” Two years ago i spend in Oregon on assignment photographing Oregon State Architectures for magazine…... / It allowed me time for myself to wisely use and walk the oregon beaches up and down the coast….This is one of hundreds photos that left mark into my memories and its like the magnet that draws desire for more….If the plan goes well i will be returning to OREGON-WASHINGTON state in 2008 and pan to spend 2 months roming around…....Hope u enjoy one of the captured memories.. Anclote Key, Florida USA This is the sunset the first night I was hiding out on the island. I’ll admit, I was scared that night and didnt sleep much. I was 2 miles out in the ocean on an island without any protection and Im about 5’6 90 pds. You could throw me. The second my eyes opened to find daylight, I got back into the boat and headed to the ramp where my handgun was in my truck. I got it and back out I went. I intentionally didnt take it with the thought, ‘Im doing all of this to get away from all of THAT’. Thus, I left my piece which left me very vulnerable, scared and unable to enjoy my hiatus! I didnt even entertain the idea I would get out there and get scared. But, I did. Once I got my lil friend, no more worries! I have gotten a lot of bubblemails asking for a sunset. I didnt know I was ‘known for that’ but OK. I am here to please so here you have it! An island sunset! This image is symbolic of the fear and anxiety I was feeling as the sun left me sitting alone on the island. I didnt realize until then that the sun was the friend keeping me company all day. Lord, how I missed her until she came back. I was one scared girl. This was just a lucky catch. My wife got some tulips for her birthday and I took one out as the sun was setting to try a get a nice shot. I put the vase down & as soon as I turned my back I heard the hummer behind me, I turned back around and had time to get off one shot before he realized he wasn’t interested in tulips. Sometimes even mistakes can turn out right. Here I woke up really early, way too early as I misjudged the time for a sunrise. So for an hour or so I was just waiting for the light. As the moon descended this opportunity arouse. This shot is taken at a point where on one side of the beach you can see east and watch the sunrise and basically just turn around and face west and watch the moon set. At this point the resort was abandoned, hence the chair. I only moved it slightly to improve the composition. A lot of people are asking how to do the links to sets of photos or works in our profiles … so I thought I would outline it here for those of you that would like that option. First thing is to have sets in mind and tags to associate with those sets. Then … make sure you have those tags on the photos you want in each set. This way a photo can actually be in more than one set if you like :) Then …. to make the links in your profile: (I’ll use my tree tag as an example) / you type the set name followed by the link to all your photos tagged with tree like this ….. but without the spaces: ” Trees ” : http://www.redbubble.com/people/crackers1967/art/everything/tags/tree When you do this without the spaces you get this: Trees / Edit your Profile and place the set code somewhere within the About Me section. I place mine down a little lower because for some reason long lines get cut when you view your Profile on your Overview page, it looks neater down lower and only viewable when someone clicks on the more link. You should be able to copy and paste that line with the spaces and just change the word, tag name and username, then remove the spaces and go for your life. :) You can also bullet the list by placing a hash and then a space before the whole lot and it looks like this: Trees / / The easiest way to see what your username is, is to open up RedBubble and click on View your public Profile. Look in the address bar of your browser and it will show you your username at the end of the address: http://redbubble.com/people/ username View all my HOW TO’s

This is a composite photo taken in Shalimar, FL near the edge of the bay. It was a glorious summer night. I applied the NIK skylight filter to deepen the reds in the picture. I also shot the sun on the same night to the west of the bank. I saw the reflection of that “prisoned” tree in the window, while I was enjoying a mountain climb here in Macedonia, a moment before i could see it free. It gave me a thought of what are we doing to our mother nature and couldn’t resist to pull the shutter of my camera as a modest contribution to a free green planet.
