This is an image from a series I shot of one of my favortie models Jessamyn. I tend to shoot Jessamyn in different styles of modelling including fashion as we have become so used to working with each other, even though she lives on the other side of Australia from me. This is my personal favorite portrait shot of Jessamyn.
/ . / I had some requests of a portrait shot of my photo entitled “Luna over Luna Park”. Luckily, I had taken the shot. I’m not great at giving photos titles, hence the title for this one. This was taken on the same night of my other photos “Luna Over Luna Park”, “Luna Harbour” and “Luna PANORAMA”. The photos were taken in quite quick succession. I attempted to combine the full moon, with the Sydney Harbour Bridge. You might be interested in viewing the other photos because this is in Portrait, two are in Landscape, and one PANORAMA. It’s amazing how a similar subject can be photographed in slightly different ways, and produce different results. I will interested in knowing which of the four is you favourite !
Our Delphinium petals fell into a puddle outside and I just thought they looked so beautiful and serene sitting there…

Painting by Dorina Costras / 47/100 cm / Oil and acrylic ....especialy for Barbara-Moon!!! :) She is in love at this theme as I do!!! Many thanks to Francis!!! / because he had the idea to add these wonderful lyrics. “La Lune Et Le Soleil” (The Moon And The Sun) from Charles Trenet (french singer)... The sun has a rendez-vous with the moon / But the moon isn’t there / And the sun is waiting for her The moon is there / The moon is there but the sun doesn’t see her / To find her it must be night / It must be night but the sun doesn’t know / And keeps on shining The sun has a rendez-vous with the moon / But the moon isn’t there / And the sun is waiting for her Hapiness is a fickle star / That runs to the call of many rendez-vous / It fades away and dies before us / When you think it’s far away / It’s there right next to you The sun has a rendez-vous with the moon / But the moon isn’t there / And the sun is waiting for her

Thick in the brush of Montana, there’s a man. Sporting an orange vest, he crouches, perched dangerously in a high oak tree. Far down the mountainside walks the majestic black bear, standing over a stream, preparing to paw some salmon. The hunter takes up his rifle, and stares down the scope. In his circular view, the bear pauses, almost sensing the crosshair. Lowering his weapon, the hunter is overwhelmed by nature. Available in army and brown, Hunter is part of the Sandman Series of Orange Alexander. Sold exclusively on redbubble.
In my most recent series: ‘Face Navigation’ , I have used the fluidity of watercolour painting to express a personal perception of self and others. There is an awareness of the universal human condition through facial expression, and in some cases I create a progression of images, exploring the changing perception of a person by deconstructing facial recognition. As there is a shift over time in attitude or mood, there is a corresponding shift in visual interpretation. Sizes variable, average sizes 250×102 mm. 1840 v2.0 / With the original versions of these pictures I was not able to use all the shots because they where damaged. But now, four years later, and with Photo Shop CS3, I’m able to rescue some really great pictures and show them now with pride. / This series was done in the middle of the woods, around the middle of Dec, 2002. It was freezing! The hot chocolate helped though. Most of these pictures are with Theak & Alex standing together, this was not a direction, and they were doing this out of a need for warmth! Half of these pictures were taken using a Nikon F, or F2 I believe, (no markings on the camera), and the other half with a Canon G3 digital camera. / Great makeup job by Rhiana, and of course, the whole look and feel of this shoot would not have been possible if not for the styling of Elisa. / Photo by Jef Harris / http://www.jefharris.net

The first image in the Dreamcatcher series. These were taken early one foggy and soggy morning as the sun rose to shine through the dewdrops. Please see my Etsy listing for this image – and purchase a pearlescent metallic print of this beautiful image. Please take a look at the calendar Everyday Mysteries, which features this photograph. The two others in the Dreamcatcher series are Prose and Meteor.

Photographic based digital montage, 2007 (1 from series of 6 – redesigned from 2004/5 Japanese Series). Re-worked combining two from the series. I shot the tree, flowers & combined them in P/S with drawn elements & filtered the lot. Approximately 50 Photoshop layers. Generally I tire of my artwork yet still love this series to this day.
