  • This intimate, bright yet dark, static yet flowing, autumn themed image was made in Baxter State Park, Maine, USA in October 2006. I like the contrast of the flowing water beneath the still branches, the pop of color from the remaining birch leaves, and the juxtaposition of the branch atop the stream in tone and color! /

  • All is calm… all is white.

  • It was a quiet Christmas for my husband and me, the first one we’ve spent alone in our 35 years of marriage and 58 years of life. We spent the last daylight hours of our Savior’s birthday at Lake Martin, in St. Martin Parish, Louisiana, and this is the scene we viewed. I’ve named it Silent Night in the Deep South, a quiet ending to a quiet and peace-filled day.

  • Mersea Island, the most Easterly populated island in the UK, may not be renowned as a photogenic location, but, standing here at East Mersea, with the gently flowing seawater lapping against the tops of the wellies, with the line of posts so obligingly composed, and with the glorious colours spreading across the late afternoon sky, it was possible for a moment or two to believe that this was the most beautiful place on Earth. Canon EOS 5D and EF 16-35mm lens. Exposure of 30 seconds at f/13.

  • Three seagulls having a leisurely chat at Mornington late in the afternoon. This was the first time I had been to Mornington since I was kid. I always flashbacks of a pier down on the coast as a child and until now had never realised where it was. It looked so much smaller than I remembered it to be… Processed in Adobe Lightroom 2 and Adobe Photoshop CS. Taken with my Canon 40D and 10-22mm wide angle lens. Featured in the Piers and Jettis Group on the 28th of March 2009

  • An early morning view from river Nira near Veer dam, just an hour drive from my city, Pune After almost a weeks break, presenting this work in blue. I didn’t tried much with the original ( not even HDR ). Just few tonal adjustments in Lab color for Levels and exposure blending in PS. Equipment : Canon EOS 400D and Canon 10 – 22 mm lens.

  • What can I say … Sometimes it all does come together perfect. I absolutely love how this turned out, hope you do as well. Image made with a Nikon D200 And Tokina 12-24mm lens. Slight touch of HDR post processing applied, converted to Sepia Tones in Adobe Digital Lightroom.

  • One of those mornings when a photographers’ dream seems to fulfill itself. A few of you sure will “see” right through the title on this image. One of my alltime favorite places to photograph, the Whaleheadhunt Club in Currituck, NC. Best viewed in Large format.
