  I wrote this poem many years ago after losing someone I loved dearly who did not return that love. I found I could grow through and recover. It taught me the meaning of the mental cleansing and the metaphorical healing of the spiritual rain that gives us new beginnings and lets us wash away the pain.   a prologue to something bigger. on the same day i wrote this piece, i created this image, of the time of day i love and loathe equally… of fleeting gold that never lasts long enough. i realised afterwards that the two pieces were inextricably linked somehow to me. she made a list of golden things
