Another older piece. Don’t ask me what it’s supposed to mean, because I don’t have anything resembling an answer. While uploading some of my older work recently I noticed that a lot of the stuff I made during my “marker-crazy” period makes very little sense. Do you think it has something to do with the marker fumes?
Inhale words by MysticMoon / Beautiful scent of flowers drifts by / Filling my head and making it high My mind wanders to dreams of sunset I dream of hues of orange, pink and yellow / And lounging in hammocks feeling mellow
I couldn’t find a suitable model and a self portrait was out because that shade of lipstick doesn’t suit me so this is 3D and Photoshop work

As a personal journey of transformation continues to unfold, this “spinning wheel” that sits in our loft, takes on a whole new meaning as today for the first time I became a silent warrior… In the days of old, we spun sheep’s wool into yarn / to knit and weave for warmth and socks to darn Today, yarns are tales told with deceptive pride / as arrogant greed leads to superiority’s confide Threats full of fear with angry, envious undertones / as regretful voices of ego make sorrowful groans No feelings of inferiority as the truth rings in my ears / as the serenity and silence of light soon appears A benevolent nature to observe becomes a deep strength / as my voice remains silent with the lights’ wavelength A strategy of peace and a nonviolent stance / frustrates the angry opponent in this loving dance Guilt overtakes him, as I spin hopes’ energetic light / as a silent warrior of compassion, I will win this fight. tkrosevear 3/23/2009 The Buddha was the one who turned the wheel of dharma or ‘wheel of law’, in Tibetan tradition it is translated as the ‘wheel of transformation’. The wheels motion is a metaphor for the rapid spiritual change engendered by the teachings of Buddha. The wheel also represents the endless cycle of rebirth or samsara (sanskrit). Interestingly enough, another auspicious symbol of Buddhism – the hub symbolizing moral discipline, which stabilizes the mind and the spokes (usually 8) represent wisdom which is applied to defeat ignorance. The rim represents training in concentration, which holds everything else together. Dharma, literally translated means ‘that which upholds or supports’, while in Buddhist translations it means “higher truth” and/or “the ultimate reality of universe”. / The “WHEEL” in general, is one of the supreme symbols of cosmic momentum – the force that drives the planets and the stars – and of ceaseless change and repitition. Within all cultures, practices and beliefs this symbol is linked to the cycles of manifestation, birth, death and rebirth, the Zodiac, time and human destiny. Spinning Wheel

This feast for the senses was found, at the lake, at Alfred Nicholas Gardens, in the Dandenongs, in Victoria, in autumn this year. This HDR shot is 3 shots merged together with Photomatix Pro using tone mapping and details enhancer. I used a Canon DSLR EOS 350D camera and tripod, too.
This image was inspired by a newspaper article I read about Wormsense being bought out by another company and how it was affecting it’s shares. So I used the actual newspaper in my image – not sure it’s clear enough to read the article though. / http://www.istockanalyst.com/article/viewiStockNews/articleid/2804132 Canon Rebel xt Canon-70-200 Grackle Southern Ontario Canada (that’s Toronto in the background)

Never worked seriously with graphite pencils before, as far as I can remember, but got inspired by some amazing works on RB to give it a try. Title inspired by the rock opera “Tommy” (“see me, feel me, touch me, heal me”). The Who / Tommy (1969) / Go to the Mirror Boy Doctor: He seems to be completely unreceptive. / The tests I gave him show no sense at all. / His eyes react to light the dials detect it. / He hears but cannot answer to your call. Tommy: See me, feel me, touch me, heal me. / See me, feel me, touch me, heal me. Doctor: There is no chance no untried operation. / All hope lies with him and none with me. / Imagine though the shock from isolation. / When he suddenly can hear and speak and see. Tommy: See me, feel me, touch me, heal me. / See me, feel me, touch me, heal me. Doctor: His eyes can hear / his ears can see his lips speak / All the time the needles flick and rock. / No machine can give the kind of stimulation, / Needed to remove his inner block. Go to the mirror boy! / Go to the mirror boy! Father: I often wonder what he’s feeling. / Has he ever heard a word I’ve said? / Look at him now in the mirror dreaming / What is happening in his head? Tommy: Listening to you I get the music. / Gazing at you I get the heat / Following you I climb the mountain / I get excitement at your feet! Right behind you I see the millions / On you I see the glory. / From you I get the opinions / From you I get the story. Father: What is happening in his head / Ooooh I wish I knew, I wish I knew. / / (“Source”: / /
