  • I took this shot a long time ago when I was in Illinois helping my dad with some family issuses. At the time I took it I was in a lot of pain, and I guess I put it away with the pain. The moon rose and she smiled at him. / They had been waiting, / longing for this moment in time. / He lightly swept away the hair from her face, / to see the moon in her eyes. / The pleasure that came from a simple touch, / the stroke of an arm. / They were swept up in tingles and chills, / forgetting the world around them. / This moment in time, / this night they thought they would never see. / Together they wrapped themselves in a blanket of love / for all eternity.   • 132 views – Shot with Canon 40D using a macro lens 100 2.8. This was in a display area at my local nursery. The Garden Supply in Williston, Vermont is one of the places I go to shoot flowers. They are so kind to me and they give me permission to go anywhere there. I thank them for their kindness.

  • The rivers in the Tennessee Smokey Mountains are just beautiful. There is always a feeling of stoicism and tranquility. Sitting there by the edge of this cool pool, I wanted nothing more than I had at that exact moment. The breeze was perfect, the sun just enough to take the chill from the air.
