  • A quickie to memorialize the outfit for the Tease-O-Rama after party.

  • © Claire McAdams / ALL RIGHTS RESERVED I have been fighting with many people that I love lately and I feel like I am just being tossed around by my emotions. I am at home and remembered I had this awesome dress and wanted to do some shots in it so I tried to capture a jump shot in which I looked like I was just flying aimlessly, because that’s kind of how I feel. I thought texture added something cool here but I kept a copy without it because I really like how it looks both with and without texture.

  • - Copyright by Mohsen Bayramnejad. has been nominated for the prestigious Pay it Forward Group by one of my favourite photographers, Kevin Skinner / a real honor for me and my simple Image, here is what he said: “The reason for this is a number of reasons. I love B&W imagery and my main passion lies with Intimate Landscape shots. Although this isn’t a Landscape (obviously), it holds the very qualities that I look for in a B&W: contrasts, textures and, most of all, detail. This image stands out from the rest as there is an absolute detail and an ineffable quality that makesit a stunning piece of work. / Also the photographer is a excellent artist and his portfolio is a must to drop by and look at as his people photgraphy is first class. / One of my favourite photographers and one of the reasons why I so glad I joined RB to experience such great work.” Thank You So Much, Kevin! Update: / - featured in the Live, Love, Dream Group. / - Wins the Group Avatar challenge of Pay It Forward group.

  • another image from the Fragmented Self Image series for my photography final project. We are often labelled with words or names that are not true to who we are. We can either submit to the labels or we can see our own self worth and confront the issue, fight back, defend ourselves, regardless of how painful and difficult it may be to break through the labels.

  • Me and my cello :-) For some unknown reason, this is my most popular image on the bubble so far.

  • This is an old image from 2007. / It’s a self portrait taken indoors with studio lighting and then I had a stock image of a forest I composed onto the background. It was done so long ago I don’t have the information on where I got the forest stock, so I can’t credit it. But it was a moderately used texture which doesn’t dominate the piece. The hair was saturated in PS. © Jessica Walker

  • I have been tagged by Galia and asked to upload a self-portrait and reveal ten facts about myself. 1. i am always punctual. i carry an alarm clock everywhere i go and set an alarm for every half an hour. i am always careful to make my alarm very loud so others may benefit from my punctuality. i consider this a community service. 2. i always sleep with a sheet over my head to prevent me from accidentally inhaling spiders. i have cut eyeholes in my sheets so, whilst keeping my spider brothers safe, i can also watch out for ambushes. 3. i take train travel very seriously. i always bring a small rail timetable and a large magnifying glass. whenever meeting people on trains i like to offer them a memento – one of my socks, an umbrella, whatever i have on my person at the time. 4. i have perfected a very grave sounding voice and foreboding facial expression in case of emergency. i keep a megaphone in my apartment and one strapped to my bicycle to amplify my catastrophe warnings should they become necessary. 5. i have a deep fear of drowning. for this reason i always wear a snorkle in the bath. i keep the water level very low and fill the remaining space with bubbles – to avoid looking silly. 6. i like to recite epic poetry to pedestrians. for construction workers: sylvia plath, for businessmen: john keats. so that people don’t have to stop, i usually run alongside them and shout the poems very loudly. 7. my apartment is decorated entirely with matchbox cars. not many people know that. 8. when invited to parties i like to disguise myself as one of the other guests. then, when that person arrives, i always tackle them to the ground, announce loudly that they are an impostor and try to take their shoes. this method has allowed me to build an impressive collection of shoes. 9. i often engage in whistling competitions with the birds that visit my balcony. i keep a small catapult nearby to fling rocks at the birds that beat me. i don’t like to lose whistling competitions. 10. i have seven pairs of plastic groucho marx glasses so that i won’t be caught out on washing day without a clean pair. i place great importance on domestic organisation.
