I originally intended this shot to be a picture of my son holding onto these balloons and taking off, floating into up into the sky … a fantasy, sotybook sort of image. However, my daughter immediately grabbed these balloons from him and started running off. So, as it turned out this eded up having a more realistic look than the one I originally intended, but I thought it turned out pretty cute with the desaturated colors throughout, except for the colorful balloons.

Two chickens out for an afternoon stroll in winter, near Kelso, Borders I seem to recall this was my first attempt at selective colouring (but am willing to be corrected by RBers with a good memory (or, who need to get out more)). This is perhaps my most favourite shot because it has caused so many other people to smile and add comments. Thank you all. I hope it continues to bring joy to many more.

This is the same shot as Birch Allee Vista Reverse with the effect I used on / The Color Is Spreading / / For some reason with this shot if you stare in the center of it / It kind of looks like the color is spreading like a virus. / Figured I would share. Don’t think I will be using this effect on too many more pictures. / Shot using a Canon Digital Rebel XTI 400D / Click to View By Category: / - Waterfall Photos / - Infrared Photos / - Black and White Photos / - Animal Photos / - Halloween Cards / - Christmas Cards
