  • The water is getting more polluted every day. How will the fish survive? This was the inspiration for this design.

  • Find what you seek
    by funkyfacestudio

    US$5.65–US$129.20

Water soluble pastels drawing/painting. The tags say it all peeps :) This was inspired by a girl whom took nude pictures of herself and then complained that they had more views than her other pics. She was calling men pervs and peepers for looking but not commenting. The very next day she loaded another nude of herself, Just boobs and a look on her face that resembled a deer caught in the headlights, I couldn’t believe the confusion ! I was so angry that I drew/painted this picture in five fierce hours straight. I couldn’t make sense of it, not one little bit….............................. After all these months I have finally decided to write a description but you can put it all together with what you see. PINK VIDEO

In this watercolor we’re not sure whether this is a game of Hide N’ Seek, a young boy plotting some mischief, or hiding because he’s already created some.

And so the adventurous young boy’s footsteps led him to a pebbly beach at the mouth of the cave, and his heart beat faster in anticipation of what he might discover as he stepped out into the light. *** / Model: My son Wyatt* / Stock

  • Lilith's Spirit
    by Sophie Shapiro

    US$4.99–US$114.00

Lilith still reigns as a symbol of independent, life-loving, justice-seeking women who have been depicted in art, history and literature as sexual predators, demons, evil spirits and harlots. She may have been considered both warrior and seductress; I view neither of these as negatives. If she is shown as one who tricked men, I believe it was to teach them lessons; if she was blamed for inciting their lust, so have all women taken the blame for male desire in a world where sexuality is held sinful. / If we are to believe she kills mortals, can we not view her as we do the male god, as one who ‘giveth and taketh away’, who ends human life as He, divine ruler, deems necessary, or simply to maintain the balance of the Universe? Why do the qualities we admire in a male god make so little sense to us when embodied by a female deity that we demonize her? Why are they so threatening? Written by Deborah Grenn-Scott, M.A., Women’s Spirituality, is founder and director of The Lilith Institute. Painting using acrylics, pigment and gold leaf / 100×42 cm / Music / Metamorphosis One – Philip Glass 13th September 2008
