A pair of cockatoos enjoying an extra Christmas Day treat.
Weed pod bursting with fluff and seeds.
I’m experimenting with wintery low light. I hope you will enjoy this photo as much as I enjoyed the experience.

This is another one of the flowers from my show and poems for her. Look at us complicated creatures living on this planet. / As we fight to survive not giving one moments care how we touch each other. / Are minds are made of tiny cells big enough to think. / And somewhere in the wiring we found away to hate. / Somewhere in the wiring we find all types of flaws. / Some of us are angry and some of us hate all. / And some of us know good from bad. / And others break the rules. / And some of us are too small to see the bad in others. / Somewhere in the wiring we fight to be seen while we step on anyone to make it to the top. / And somewhere in the wiring some of us don’t care. / And thats when we see in the news that someone went crazy. / And somewhere in the wiring we need to tighten screws.

Last in the series… I can’t decided if this is my favorite or not. Enjoy! There are dandelion seeds with colorful paper as the background.
I said I wasn’t going to do anymore dandelions for a while… but as I was going through my old files I found a bunch that I forgot about. Haha… so enjoy!
“Love Hurts” ~ Cactus seed pod in Wadley, Mexico. ~ Feb. 2009
Something kind of old…ish that I found on my hard drive. I remember trying to hold the camera with one hand and trying to hold up the single dandelion seed against the sky with the other. Haha, it was kind of difficult. I don’t like using tripods! Anyway, Enjoy!
I dedicate this image to all those who have suffered or do suffer from their black moments of depression. Never forget, there is always a glimmer of hope, we just have to seek it out. Low-key dandelion macro. Samsung GX20, Sigma 50mm macro lens.
I love trying to get close up captures of things in life. I also life dandelions (as most people don’t) and enjoy capturing their beauty. This morning, I looked out the window and thought I wouldn’t see any dandelions after yesterday’s rain, but to my surprise, I found wet dandelions calling me to come out and shoot them!
