  • dandelion seeds with raindrops

  • Dandelion seed head covered in water drops

  • Third in the series… three drops.. nothing too special. I shall explain the crazy set-up for this one… I had the tiny green spring (which was strung with seed beads) resting on a CD with a shiny gift bow as the background. I used a syringe to place the water drops and used my flash as well. Haha, it makes sense to me! Enjoy!

  • Close up of a Dandelion flower head. Black & white picture.

  • Shot on the Wildlife Refuge near Lawton, Oklahoma. Big bushes with seed pods on the end. Early spring. Cloudy day… even sprinkled a few times. March 2009 Nikon D80 / Not altered. Slight color correction in CS4 is all. This is in color actually… Featured on the Homepage on 9 June 09! / Thank You So Much!!! /

  • A single dandelion seed stranded amongst the wet. / [earlier macro work] Full view a must =) Canon 400D / Canon 100mm usm macro lens

  • With all the beautiful dandelion macros flying around RB at the moment, I wanted to try my hand at shooting one. I spotted a fine specimen in the garden at lunchtime, but when I went to harvest it, it had disappeared! All I could find was a poor, bedraggled looking little dandelion, so I worked with that instead. Samsung GX20, Sigma 50mm macro lens.

  • This is a shot using the Angel of the North in Gateshead as a backdrop. The rainclouds can be seen in the sky and the wind was blowing strong, hence the blurring caused by the grasses and yet this single seed was about to take to the air on a journey of discovery, well unless it landed in some garden somewhere lol. Image converted into a Holga/film effect

  • Shot with Canon EOS 350D with Canon EFS 60mm macro lens. / As is.

  • This wonderful reminder of a life in a season, stands like some lost temple to a half forgotten religion. After the glory of it’s flowers, this simple and yet wonderfully complex design, stands in it’s strength against the coming winter, now a home to a hopeful spider, casting it’s nets into the sea currents of air. Converted into a pinhole black and white And shot on the outskirts of York

  • Canon 350D / F/5.6 / 1/500seg / ISO-400
